2011 E350 First price offer to me.

Stumbled onto a 2011 Black/Black 4Matic. AMG Pkg. 5 spokes, P1 Sport. Nothing else on the car. MSRP $57,535. Dealer offered to me for $54,500. I know this is only the first price... and told me that was invoice. Where should this price be on a 2011. Feel like I should get at least 5k off the price if not more.

I am suscribed and watching this thread with great interest as I am just starting to shop cars now.

Question: What is the general concensus on how the discount percentages on the E550 compare to those on the E350?

In following the thread, it seems the percentages are all over the place.

I just got my 2011 E350 4matic (same as OP, plus split folding seats), MSRP $57,965 for $50,800. MB Also threw in 3.64 financing plus fair trade in value. Dealer is in Maryland.

That's how I feel personally. I cross shopped the E350 and C63 and the C had too many shortcomings (to me) in comparison.

I feel a lot of people post these big discounts, and fail to state if they get any additional discounts (M-B loyalty, USAA, etc.) on top of standard Dealer negotiating. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

Won't be buying. went back to look over the car today and found damage to the rear bumper...looks like they either ran it into something or vice versa. Go figure.
