A6 is out
I do not like the "pop" up nav
I was just visiting audi's site and explored the a6.......it stinks man......350 hp?
that's if you get the 4.2? how does this compare? because it's the same price range?
well, that's really where the similarities cease..........
my e550 is much nicer than that..........lol......................

I agree, that was the first thing I noticed. It looks awkward. It appears to be a 'normal' size screen, but looks out of proportion to the dash. We'll have to see what it looks like in person.
A friend of mine just bought a new F10 550i BMW. I really like the interior; it's somewhat Bauhaus looking. Or maybe kind of Scandinavian; like Ikea
Very subtle but very sleek and ergonomic. And the latest iDrive and Nav makes COMAND look like a 1950s child's toy. The nav maps and the inter-connectivity of the iDrive system is superb.
BMW and Audi seem to be trending towards a continuity in form across all models. But rather than saying the 5 series looks like a bigger 3 series, it's probably more appropriate to say it looks like a smaller 7 series. The 5 and 7 are now built on the same assembly line.

And the RS6 would compare to the E63. But they stopped exporting the RS6 to the USA a while ago. Although they may bring it in again. In the meantime, there's the new RS5 (a coupe, and competes with the M3 and the C63.) Take a look at it.......

S6 is a failure. V10 lamborghinni engine and 0-60 in 5.1s. Even an E550 can do 0-60 in 5.3s. In some car magazines, the S6 is slower than the E550. With that money, I'd just be getting M5 or E63.

It's interesting that R&T reviewed the S6 against the M5 and E63 back in 2007. They should have reviewed the RS6 against the MB and the BMW but the RS6 wasn't available here. But nonetheless they preferred the S6 as their number one choice. http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...n/results.html
It's great that we have such choices of car models from BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and Porsche (the Panamera is a really fantastic performer, too.)
You can't go wrong with any of these brand choices. None of them are necessarily better or worse.

I like A6 over E class, however due low resale value lease rates for A6 just soaring. People still do not accept Audi as real competitor for Merc and BMW. Same problem with Volvo, you can buy it cheap however lease cost is twive that I pay for E class

Of course there's the necessary Mercedes DNA, but they each have their subtle character uniqueness, which Audi (and BMW lately) doesn't, for better or worse (depending on who you ask). The W203 & W211 look exactly alike, with different sizes present, though).Actually I just heard the A6 "L" is the biggest seller in China in that segment!

I hate the pop-up screen too, and the next 6'er has it too. They look terribly cheap and aftermarket. No to mention obvious glare issues.
F10's interior is very "Ikea", now that you mention it. I think it's great either way as well.

(for me)
props to you for not being a pinhead when your error was explained
