In order of importance (IMO)
1) the ability to lock and unlock your car via the cell phone app
2) the ability to send directions to the car from your computer
3) the personal notification feature which lets you know your alarm has been tripped
4) the ability of police to use the tracking feature to find your stolen car
5) the automatic accident notification feature which could literally save lives

I gave up on mbrace after having to fight with them about what was installed on my car! They kept telling me that my car had comand 4.0 and I had comand 4.5 because it was a late build 2011 e350. I kept asking questions about 4.5 features and they said I didn't have it. I figured if they were that dumb, they probably would ask me twenty questions if there was an accident instead of just reporting that there was an accident.

Additionally, one major flaw is that it is tied to the sprint (I think) system.....if there is no sprint service/tower, there is no emergency response, there is no response. Few realize this and feel safe with this feature, not knowing that there are many places that you won't be heard...and of course they have no responsibility if they don't respond even if it's due to negligence...read the contract folks.

A waste of money in my book....cancelled it before the trial expired which took me to another dumb implementation....they can only cancel the day you call...you can't call in advance and say "cancel when my free trial ends". It's just their way to make sure you forget to call. This of course is intentional....and a really cheap customer policy....but this is the new Mercedes.

yeah i thought i remember giving them my cc number when i got the car but couldnt recall if it was for sirius free trial or mbrace.

i was using android and could never once get it to locate my car, even when i was standing next to it, wtf,

my six months comes up in 2 weeks, still havnet gotten a notice

If you want to cancel, call them, get a cancellation number and keep it just in case their system starts to bill you.

great word! not often you get to slip that one in there....

I love Mbrace... with the concierge service. we just completed a 4500 mile trip using the service for hotels, directions, and any other information including letting us know where the fireworks were.
So, ontop of all the safety features the convience rocked!! The booked a hotel and dropped the directions onto the NAV.
