I have a 2011 W212 (Oct Mfg Date). When I use the connector in the glove box and recieve a call the music does not resume after the call ends. I cannot switch to radio or CD. The only the music resumes is if I disconnect the iPhone.
Is anyone else having the same issue?

Bluetooth audio streaming has to be activated in the engineering menu...
Why they have the capability loaded in the system but not activated is beyond me...

BT audio streaming is great. Unfortunately my iPhone doesn't support it, so I have to buy cheap old iPod and connected it to the car permanently to avoid taking iPhone from pocket.

You're not the only one. I just bought a new 2011 a week ago, and I'm having the same issue.
For some reason, if your using the connection in the glovebox and receive a call (utilizing Bluetooth call functionality), when the call ends, the phone wants to remain in Bluetooth mode. After the call, take a look at the phone and click the little blue box with the triangle on you phone's screen; it will have Bluetooth checked instead of Dock Connection.
You can either choose dock connection or unplug and replug the phone in; either is unacceptable, especially since the 2011 has the connection for the phone in the glovebox...
by the way, best to do the screen check that I mentioned above with the help of a passenger or while PARKED!!
I dropped the car off at my dealer today to have them look at this, as well as a rattle in the rear headliner, but everyone I spoke with there had never heard of this problem. Were you ever able to get it resolved?

This is a 'feature' of the iPhone (and Android for that matter)- nothing Mercedes can do about it. It is a basic assumption that if you have A2DP capability, you want to use it.
