LOL. That is awesome. Beautiful scenery, and great seeing the two cars together as well (got some nice screenshots )

Why in the German version, did they replace the girl with an older guy? Haha.

She would have to be a coming F1 world champion (I did not recognise the older man from the German version either, did not look like a previous champion).

This could get political but it would be nice if native German members would explain why a young woman cannot pass two F1 world champions because they are men. Reminds me when a family friend of mine, a gorgeous blond with her colleagues had a business visit to a German company and people there thought she was attending to entertain German hosts while she was the CEO of a rather big company, the head of the visiting delegation. In the past the navigation device too had to have the voice from a man because German men could not accept instructions from a woman. A pity but things must have improved during the last few years (this was not too long ago though).

Wow, didn't know it was like that in Germany. That would be a pretty regressive and lousy reason for them to axe the girl for the older gent.

In some western countries old traditions still live strong. Like a woman's place in German house is a lot more a "woman's place" than in U.S. in general. Now it might sound bad but it really isn't because a man has it's place too. This also means that if there are some man's josb to do they will be done now, not tomorrow.

It also makes it quite easy to agree on things especially things that go wrong because it is the man in general who makes decisions. German women also know how to give you earfull so it makes the man to think about the decision a but harder before it is made.

I don't know how it is on job market in what comes to equal pay for equal job. There probably is lots of room to improve.

I believe there still are man's jobs and womens jobs no matter how much some groups drum for equality between men and women. Some jobs just don't mix.

I don't want to open a can of worms with this post. This is just my opinion based on numerous trips to Germany.

Hey -- I am a stay-at-home Dad too! (formerly an academic). Cool to "meet" another one. I'm proud to stay home with the little one while the wife does what she loves (and what she does very, very well).

Sorry to hear you think nightvision is a waste. I know you were looking forward to it.

And if you think regular CC is great, you ought to try the Distronic plus version! The car slows itself down, and you can control the distance from the car in front (from sort-of-annoying to really-far-back). But then you'd have to put up with blind-spot assist...

I guess I should have recognized him. He just looked different when he was playing. I wonder if I looked different when I was watching him play (on TV, never seen him live). Honestly I'm not a football fan but have certainly seen him playing.
