2010 E550 Coupe Leftover

Folks,

Thanks in advance for your feedback

While in Florida this weekend I was looking at a 2010 E550 Coupe, the MSRP is $65,500 and the dealer will sell the car for $54,000. Is this a good deal or am i better of trying to negiotiate a deal on a 2011 model.

Thanks

E350 Coupe
You might get a better response in the E-Coupe (C207) forum.

This is the wrong Forum, but it sounds like a good deal to me. My E350 Sedan cost just a couple of grand less, in late May. I think there's a lot of incentive and leeway with the 550 Coupes, as they're relatively low volume, and Dealers probably really gotta move 'em.

There was a Diamond White E550 Coupe in the showroom that the Salesman was trying to convince me into, I didn't even get into numbers as I wanted the Sedan, but now I kind of wonder, out of curiosity, how low they were intending to go.

I would try to negotiate a deal on a 2011. Then you would be able to compare the two deals. Good luck!

I am getting almost 11k off of a 2011 E 5504matic pretty loaded and they located one for me because i did not like the one's on the lot. This includes 2k loyalty since we have two MB's. I also locked in during the winter event - or whatever MB called it...

IMO its an excellent deal. Just for comparison, I've got 3K off on my E550 coupe 8 months ago. Look at it this way - you're getting extra $1K off for each month since then. E550 coupe is an excellent car, but quit different from the sedan. I have both now - coupe much sportier handling, sedan more refined ride.

The bargain price for this car would be 49,500. It is a one year old car in a market where obsolescence rides a wildly fast horse. Otherwise I see a better deal at a 17 to 20% discount on a 2011. And, beware of demos spanked at each tryout.... Brand new should be exactly that.

Cheers.

Curious as to where you can find 20% off a 2011 E550?

With all due respect, I find above mentioned discount for 2011 E550 coupe very hard to believe. There are a lot more 2011 E350 coupes than 2011 E550 coupes and you can't get that discount on 2011 E350 coupes.

There is no need for them for such a deep discount on relatively low volume 2011 E550 coupe while it is still a current model year. While theoretically it maybe possible to get upto 20% off on 2010 E550 coupe, but there aren't many new (not demo) 2010 E550 coupes left around, if any, to warrant this. This is what I see at least in my area.

Has anyone got 20% on any E-Class? That is insane.
