Local sales guy said today that their managers were told new information on the coming MBs and the sales people will learn the details tomorrow at a scheduled meeting. He'll let me know afterwards. Maybe this is part of that information and the OP has already learned this piece. I'd like some official confirmation on the new engines in the 2012s and more 2012 configuration details, even as basic as any new colors?

I got my information from the official MY 2012 Allocation Metrology put out by MBUSA. It lists the dates for all the different models for the US. I assume this information will be at the dealers soon.

That October delivery for my 2012 E350 really hurts my plans. I was planning on an end of July delivery and was going on a 5,000 mile vacation from Arizona to the Northeast. November is not the time to plan a trip out east.

I have the sheet in my inbox, E sedan is July 2011 with the new engine and same timeline for the coupe and cabriolet. I would assume the early delivery dates will only be for ordered cars as they will hold back 2012 invnetory while the herd of 2011s gets thinned down.
