Changing the suspension from stiff to comfort?

I bought new E-350 with sport tuned suspension with R17 rims. And i consider it stiff for me. Is it possible to change the suspension (springs or whatsever) into comfort mode ?

It is not a cheap swap, but doable.

There is no suspension adjustment in a e350, just tranny adjustmnet(E/C button). Regards. Ned.

Gotcha, from personal experiance and per magazine writeups, the 550 in sport mode, is considered one of the best handling cars in it's class. In comfort it falls short. If your modded 350 is comparable to a 550 in sport, then you might not want to change it. I personally hate it when it is in comfort, it's too "boatie" for me.

Doesn't the sport come with 18" rims?

Bluetecs come with 17" rims and you can get 'em on a non-bluetec. Someone gave the option code in another thread but I couldn't find it...

Before doing this, you might want to test drive the Luxury version which comes standard with "comfort" suspension. I have one and while more comfortable than the Sport versions I test drove, it is not most comfortable riding car I have owned.
Also, play with the lumbar adjustment and seat angles a lot. I have had the "ride" or comfort in cars improve after spending time on road adjusting lumbar and angle. E lumbar is complicated to adjust due to use of airbags going in four directions.
Good luck!

Taleh - you previously started 3 separate threads about trying to find the car with the softest ride.

So why did you buy the E350 Sport?

Let me get this right...

1. You started 3 threads to ask what model had the softest ride.
2. You were too stupid to pay attention (your words).
3. You did - or did not test drive?
4. Now you are posting to say the ride is too stiff!

I don’t blame Taleh as much as I would blame the sales rep.

Taleh did you tell your SR your preference?
If you did he/she should have immediately pointed you to an E350 Lux or E550.
