Hi all,
I know that we can close all windows by pushing the lock button. Is there a way to open all windows from outside? This is good in summer to let the hot air leave the car. Thanks

 

Have you tried pressing the Unlock button on the key fob? If I recall, that works.

 

Yes, I tried, it didn't work. The lock button works but the open doesn't.

 

For my car you have to be within about 6-10 feet on the drivers side ONLY (not like my previous BMW), and you also have to point it to the door handle. That's the only way it works on my MB.

 

yes, agree with ftb...........proximity is key.....(no pun intended, or rhyming either lol)

 

If you have keyless Go you can do it with the handle too... I dont remember how, I would have to RTFM to jog my memory.

 

Simple, just hold your hand in the position that you put it in to unlock the doors.

 

That does not work.

To open the windows with KEYLESS-GO without using the key fob, you need to press the lock "button" (depression on the handle), and then quickly grab the inside of the handle and pull it out about 1/4" and hold. The windows will then open. If you open the door completely, or if you don't hit the lock button first, the windows will not open.
