3D Command System
Can someone who has the 3D maps please comment on the speed? I have the 3D maps and buildings in my 2012 C and it is completely USELESS. When it is turned on, the screen is extremely laggy and it takes forever just to pan around the map. Things work fine when it is in 2D mode.

I have not had a chance to use it either. The view that was represented from the Korean poster was awesome. But not driving in a major city very often it does not do much for me. I would really like the road names to more frequently appear on the map. I don't understand why there is so few of them. I can't imagine it would clutter the view up that much.

Yes KA. I simply have the 3d option checked and the orientation set to 3D (not bird's eye) You only see the buildings at the 1/16 and 1/8 mile zoom that I noticed. Works very nicely indeed. Camden Yards show up very nicely.

I was just in Boston, and, again the renderings were very nice. I do not find the display lagging. I especially like how the buildings become "transparent" as you get very close so that you can see streets on the other side of the buildings. This is my first factory GPS in a car, and, I find it to be quite good and better than I had anticipated.
