Lot of gorgeous pix on this forum...but no front tags?
Here in the Old Dominion we have a front tag requirement. As I look at the various photos on this forum, it seems most folks are not displaying a front tag. The front end looks much cleaner without a tag. Frankly, I never thought to ask the dealer to not install the front bracket -- this is something I'll have to file away for the next car.
So, do most folks here live in a state without a front tag requirement or do you simply risk a ticket for vanity's sake? And have you actually received a ticket for no front tag?

Same here I risk the ticket for the sake of Vanity.
I also risk the tint ticket for Vanity.
Well I bought this car for vanity because this car is so darn SEXY.

I actually just got a ticket for no tags yesterday, front or back.
Gotta put them back on for inspection and off again they will go.
I'm pretty sure I have avoided a ticket or two without the tags.

Tints, front plate, risking both tickets. I won't drive my car without front windows tinted, and I won't put a hideous plate on the front. I'll pay the fine instead (but hope that I don't have to! )
I've had to pay one front plate ticked with this car, and it was because it was parked on a busy street (meter maid got me).
I look at it this way, people pay lotsa money for things like grills, hood emblems, accessories, front lips (most of which I don't think improve the front end visual on this car anyway), and IMO, the best mod you can do for the front is to have no front plate or holes.
Sometimes I wonder whether leaving the Dealer plate on the back of my car may help get me out of front plate tickets, or if it can attract more attention to pull me over (and give me more fix it tickets).

There's a late model Porsche convertable regularly parked in my condo complex's parking lot that lacks a front plate even though one's required here.I enevy the chutzpah of that guy/gal! The three states in which I do 95% of my driving (CT,MA,NY) are all left wing hell holes which tell their cops at the start of each shift "now you go out and raise tons of $$$" so *I* won't risk it.My time (traffic stops ain't quick) and my $$$ are both too important to me.

No tags in the back??? Yikes, that's gutsy! With an attitude like that in CA you might as well just send Governor Moonbeam a $500 check every month and you'll be cool.

No front plate required in Florida where I'm registred. I'm between FL & NY so Im good and I always ask the dealer not to install the bracket. Such a cleaner better look.

Not required in "The Old North State." Did not know you could get away without displaying a front plate in other states that require them. I'll have to remember that should I ever live in one of them.

I didn't mount the front plate. It is required here in Texas but the police have much larger issues to deal with (like murders) in H-Town than no front plate. Got a warning once but with no other tickets in last 10+ years, he let me go.
