New 19" AMG style Wheels
I finally decided to just go with 19's for now. Got them from OEMWHEELSPLUS (very nice people)
Fronts 19x8.5 (et 45, with 5mm spacers to clear brakes)
Rears 19x9.5 (et 45)
Michelin Super Sports
Fronts 245/35/19
Rears 275/30/19
The ride is a bit rougher, but hitting the Comfort button, makes its all a little better

Nice wheels. Of course, I'm biased
The reason AMG uses primarily open 5 spokes is for better brake cooling. And 5 spokes are kind of a tradition going back to the old pre-merger AMG days.

Perfect rim choice. I'm prejudiced to any wheel but 5-spokes .
However, the even slightly rougher ride would be a deal breaker to me, this car already handles messy roads badly enough.
