Servicing with MB Manhattan WTH??
I got a message "Service due in 14 days".
Trying to schedule Service A with "MB Manhattan" and they say closes spot they got for me is 2 weeks from now...
Mind you- I bought a car from them as well as prepaid "MB Star service".
WTH??
I really feel special.
Anyone else had same experience with them?
I know they are moving and stuff, but 2 weeks ?

Yeah they suck with timing. I had to have my service A done last month and they told me over 2 weeks for an appt with a loaner car. Without a loaner it wouldve been sooner. I needed the loaner so I waited. Their new facility is amazing though. But the service is still not too cool...

Make an appt for service at almost any dealer other than MB Manhattan. They are great at cutting deals for new car purchases / leases but are terrible with service.
The pre-paid maint you purchased is good at any Mercedes dealer.

Any advice - Its a 2000 e320 with 103,000 miles automatic schedule a maintenance appears It takes 3-4 cranks before the car actually starts. I have to wait 5 -7 minutes in the morning or I will have difficulty driving - the car will not accerlate until it heats up after that smooth running. I did notice difficulty driving up a hill a very slow start.

We bought 3 cars from MB of Manhattan, but never go there for service. Corporate dealership has very good prices to buy/lease cars, but service sucks.

Thing is- this winter I blew two tires and had them replaced at Sovereign.
Asked them to put new tires in front.
Now at speeds 60-70 *I think* my steering wheel vibration is higher then it used to be. Just wanted to check it (together with Service A) in other place .

Service in NYC
YOu could head over to Silver Star in LOng Island CIty - it is only about 5 miles from MB Manhattan - they just did a whole AutoHaus MB renovation there as well - supposed to be really nice. Haven't been there since my last service and it was still under construction.

Yeah I will buy another car there but I wont service there anymore. I'm closer to Larchmont and they have great service. Ive bought a car before as well. Good place and they are building a new larger facility 2 blocks away.
