Porsche Macan S SportDesign / Ex M-B's: 11 & 10 & 06 E350's, 02 S500
I'm down over $1500 on a Stock that I just bought, if it makes you feel better. ![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
Hopefully mine goes up, and with our new focus on M-B's ridiculous price gouging, their prices on parts go down!

... and people are poking fun at ME for wanting Power Folding Mirrors!
Tough break (literally) on the mirror, I've done it myself in a prior ride and it ain't no fun! I have a small garage by US spec's only 15' across that I have to share with a Lexus RX-450h SUV. At least the RX has folding mirrors or one of us would be sleeping in the driveway.

Don't ask me to explain this...but, when you price the oem mirror glass online. The w/o blind spot assist right is $152.00...the w/o blind spot assist left is $1,070.00. The moral of the story is to make sure you hit the garage door frame with the right mirror. Far more economical.

I am confused.
From the location of the OP, this should be an US spec car. The picture #1 also shows the car is a left hand drive and the broken mirror is on the passenger (right) side, which should be without automatic anti-dazzle function. I noticed the vehicle diagram on the top right hand corner of picture #2 and it seems to suggest this is for the driver side mirror since it is darken.
So either the car is equipped with automatic anti-dazzle mirror on both sides from the beginning, or they quoted, installed and charged you an automatic anti-dazzle mirror to one that didn’t have this function. If it’s the later one, does it work?
Or could it simply be that you are quoted and charged wrong?

The diver glass has anti dazzle( dimmimg) , its got auto heating , and if you have blind spot assit you have a 2 way led triangle in the corner of the glass... not trying to justify the price or anything but for all the people trying to compare this glass to a honda side mirror are you kidding .... everyone wants car manufactures to design new inovative systems on their cars but the minute something breaks here comes the crying on the price...... theirs a diffrence between shopping around ( dealers, online, ebay) which i encourage but then theres flat out caviar taste with a mc donalds budget

I tore off the entire R mirror (w/o blind spot assist) and the original MB parts came to 1100.00 total. Cars been in the shop three weeks now and Im tired of driving a rental car. Cant wait to get the car back.
Im going to slap some 19s on it. Checking with MB Laguna Niguel on different wheels that would look good on iridium silver. BTW the vendor told me to stay clear of 20s they get bent all the time?
