Hello MB drivers.....
The massage seat is nice huh?
I RTFM but still can't figure out why I need to TURN the seat OFF
when I get out......![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
Is this normal for the seat to bet turned off manually?
seems odd
, will it kill any power source if I forget to turn it off and left it overnight? have not done that yet, just wondering......
thanx and hapy trails

i guessing it might be a keyless go related problem
test it by using the smartkey instead of the button to turn off the car. the seats should switch off when the smartkey is in the off position.

My seat goes off when the engine stops within 1 minute or if I open the door. However, when I close the door again, the seat goes on for about 30 seconds and then shuts down. Is this what others are experiencing? I have P2 installed on my 2011 E550.

mine is obviously not working properly I think....if it stays on after turning the engine off, however I didn't set up all my command stuff yet.....would that possibly have anything to do with it?

Thanx MBerman, I'll have to try the seat memory to see if that does anything.....I have not even set up the seat memory yet....
and thanx for the car comp.....hate to say it, but I sustained a cracked windshield
today on 40
..right in the middle, under the cavern of windshield tools...haven't even had it a full week.....(it'll be a 'week' tonight)
very frustrating to say the least.....
it'll be just over 1000 to fix......lol.....
thanx again

i have multicontour dynamic seat but not sure why both the lumbar support and side bolsters don't stay the same position even i have set them in the memory. i have to adjust them pretty much every single time. do any of you have have this same problem? is it normal
?

When I get in my car I have to hold my memory button to keep the support positions back to where they belong. i have the multi contour seat and have yet to get adequate lumbar support of the driver seat. Seams like the in and out button and the up and down button do the exact same thing. Can never get the lumbar support low enough on my back regardless of what I try. It seems to always just stick out in the middle of the seat.

have also decided the massage is next to useless....
doesn't get me in any of the right spots.....kind of feels
like some one poking my back in an unpleasent way....
anyone else like that thing???

I struggle with having to change the setting each time in get in the car as well. It has become habit now as before I put it in reverse I move the bag down, increase the pressure and hit the massage feature. I can't stand driving without it on. Not a robust massage but does feel better than just sitting there to me. YRMV

like most said from other threads, the seat cushion length is close to useless and the cushion tilt as well. it doesn't really tilt much
. not good for people have longer legs
. bmw did a better job on these. and now we have to play around with the lumbar support and side bolsters every time we hop in the car even w/the memory set previously. so the memory settings are actually partial
.
