E350 runs on springs and E550 has an air suspension at all 4 corners thus different methods of lowering...

OK, if no one can recommend a shop in Southern Cali maybe someone can share steps/instructions on how to do it yourself?

Your help is highly appreciated!

The proper way to lower this vehicle on air suspension is actually by modifying the target ride height set by the factory computer.

H&R has a kit ($2100 ) that plugs directly into the factory ECU. Personally I think this is ridiculous. Those with access to the ECU can also change the settings - the dealer can do it if you ask real nicely or you can go aftermarket.

Try SP Engineering 626-333-5398 in Industry - they can most likely do it for you as they have access to the computer.

Good luck!

BTW I lowered my E55 this way, but just ended up replacing 2 bumpers on my driveway - something to think about

I've used the Renntech lowering module (not links obviously) without issues for the past 4-5mo. The ride hide is customizable.

I live in NorCal (so I can't recommend anyone for you)and have used links because of the stories I have heard about failures from one of the big name electronic lower kits , once I set it I never had a desire to change. I know the older E classes can be lowered with Diagnostics but I haven't heard of anyone doing it on W212 E550. Would be interested in an info or experience anyone has.
