Quote: Yes, I'm in Edmonton and for clarity it's the E63 Estate I'm after. Thank you for your thoughts on this.

I understand the dealer spread is about 8% over invoice. Is there any other money in play on these cars ?
The best of the best. You won't be disappointed!! With the massive price drop, and being an order-only vehicle, you won't see any trunk money on the estate. You've got about 10% to play with, plus the usual cash grabs (admin fee, freight/pdi, etc).

If you're interested in leasing, MBF's current offer is 5.9% with a 51% residual on 36 months/24,000km. Finance is 3.9% up to 5 years.

I have tied up a car for a February build. They say they have only one allocation. They've offered me $ 3000.00 off of the MSRP ( but want to charge $ 3500.00 in misc. cash grabs ) What are your thoughts on a counteroffer ?

The other local dealer offered me a discount on snowtires !

There's close to 10k in margin on the car (assuming you order the Premium Package). I'd push for $5k with only $1,995 freight/PDI plus max $300 admin fee added beyond that. They may only have one allocation, but they've probably only got one customer

That sounds reasonable. I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks YYZ, I followed your advice and so it went. February build. I think I better move this discussion to the E63 wagon thread.
