New Member Intro
I wanted to first thank you for the wealth of information mbworld forums provide.
We test drove BMW 3 & 5 series, Audi A4 & A6, and Mercedes C & E class. Almost forgot about the Lexus ES 350, I wanted to end the test drive immediately. This purchase litterally took us over a month before deciding what manufacturer to go with.
Let me introduce my newest member of my family, 2011 E350 4Matic Sport. This is truly one great looking sedan!

Now this is just my opinion but two things really stood out on the BMW 3 & 5 Series (this also applies to Audi A4):
*The ride was a little rough (I'm officially old for saying this).
*Lack of features or wow factor. The price range I was shopping for I really wanted more features.
The one positive note was the 4 years of included maintenance which was also part of our decision but still didn't sway us.

The 2012 Audi A6 was a beautiful car especially with Premium Plus & Quattro spec. My wife was leaning toward the A6 but the price was just higher than we wanted to pay. Please understand in no way did I settle with the E350, we are both extremely happy with our Purchase.
I could not agree more with Golfster about the Merc's lines, looks somewhat aggresive.
