They have arrived

My B Gormans are here, arrived yesterday. However, one of the rear tires was mounted backwards so I need to wait until saturday to put them on

Here's a quick pic of what i've got in store

yeah, but it's typical of my luck with wheels. when I was getting a set made for my project truck, the first company went out of business.. with my deposit!!!

The guy disappeared, fell off the map. I know he lives down here somewhere, I'm sure he'll pop up somewhere.

When he does I'll see what I can do about it. Not much I would think, other than beating the crap out of him, but that would at least bring some form of satisfaction

My concern is the front tires are 245/35r20, I've read about some rubbing issues, how would I remedy that?

You gotta be kidding me man......sorry bout that! I definitely should have caught that, because I personally boxed them up and dropped them off @ Fedex......it was a long day !!! I will cover the cost of the dis-mount and re-mount man....just let me know what it costs!

Also....tell them to watch out for the tpms sensor (its strapped on a band inside)!

If you haven't lowered the car, I think you will be okay.....could rub if lowered. Look forward to seeing the pics....wheels look great!

Ctrl I was having the same issue. I had to go with a 225/35/20 on the front and I havent had any issues. I think my offset is 35. Or I think u can get away with a 245/30/20 on the front.
Much success my friend

Just curious as to why you had to go less narrow in the front to accomodate the wheels. Is it because of the offset of the rims you have?

Yes because of the offset. I'd try to stick with the same offset as the factory.

If you want, I can have the tires picked up (if you get them dismounted), and have another setup sent down to you ASAP!!! I was going to run 245/30 & 285/25.....but I repair so many wheels for that type of setup, because the profile is so low....especially 30's up front man (sooooo many broken belts). I try to keep them 35 front and 30 rear (just seems to work better). I also thought about running a 235/35 up front, but that's a mild stretch (and some guys don't like that!

Also, can is there anyway to grind the bolt down up front like we can do on our W211's?

Bill, we're all good, everything up and running. I went to my friend's shop and he took care of it in a couple mins, can't even tell anything was done
