2012 E350 SPORT

Just picked up a 2012 E350 with Sport Pkge. I was under the impression that the sport rims where like the ones in the 2011 (the 18in 5 Spokes)

apparently the new sport rims look like the E350 Luxury 17 in rims but in 18inches!!!

anyone else disappointed

Congrats on the purchase and I didn't know that they changed the wheels. Post some pics of the car!

How are you finding the ride quality? There have been a lot of complaints about the sport ride.

Yeah, I couldn't believe it when I saw those. Not very nice with the Sport Package. Nice for the Luxury Package though.

If you go onto the MBUSA website and "build" a E350 sport, you will see that the 5 split spoke wheels are available as an add-on to the sport model. It is called a "Wheel Package" and costs $760.00. It appears to include a steering wheel similar to a C63.

What is the "steal of a deal" you got? I have a deposit down on a 2012 but holding out for a better deal...

$760 is a steal for those wheels. Try to buy them past purchase and it's....oh about $4000 for the set. Never thought I would say this but I like the 17" luxury wheels over the 2012 sport wheels. But I Never like anything asymmetric.

Big time agreed on the asymmetric. Throws everything off.

I have to say I like the new wheels. Saw them at the dealer the other day and I think they work on the car. They are not the same as the luxury as those got a new 17" design this year as well. The optional "wheel package" wheels are the same as last year.

Yes, they were an option on my 2011 E 350, exactly as pictured above for $760. That was the price on the window sticker and did include the sport steering wheel from the AMG models. I didn't like them gray although the wheel itself looked fantastic. I did a core swap with California Chrome Wheel for the same wheel chromed. They looked absolutely fantastic on my new Capri blue sedan.

I think the solid wheels are still available on the 2012's, but they just have a wider variety of available wheels now.
