Color Poll
I've had several silver cars and know that they are easy to take care of, but the white is very enticing.
General thoughts?

BUT, too many people are getting the same colors, so I advocate differentiation!
The W212 responds very strongly to different colors. The dark silver/gray colors that it comes with give it an extremely formal and mature tone, while the non metallics give it a more casual vibe.

IMO and experience, black exterior is great when you do not drive your car (just look at it indoors) or you love to perform almost daily detailing. Had 325I and Scorpio in black long time ago - never again.

Artic White/Black interior with Black Ash Trim
then behind that would be Palladium or Black with the same interior above.
One of the main reasons i chose my car was because of its color & trim combo. Its so hard to find a White car with Black interior. I can't stand tan interior personally. I dont care how good of a deal a car is if it has Tan interior its a deal breaker.

Light colors swirl just as easily, but you don't see it. I like taking care of my car and a weekend every few months to clay, polish and seal/wax the car is time well spent - but then I'd like it to look nice for more than 2 minutes.
Mine is Diamond White with Natural Beige & Black 2-tone leather.
If only we could get red leather in this car...
I love (non Metallic) White's ease of ownership. Almost impossible to see swirl marks, good with keeping possible scratches non visible, and it almost always looks clean (the windows are usually a better giveaway as to whether the car is dirty or not). I think the biggest downfall of white (in a caretakers sense) is that it doesn't truly reward you after putting in lots of hard work in detailing, lol.
My biggest downside to the technicalities of Whites longevity, is that sometimes they start to look yellow-y after a while. I assume that high quality paint like M-B's and proper care would 100% prevent that.

You really need to see the colors outdoors before deciding. Website and brochures are no where near correct.
