Thats a good point..the next thing I am going to look into is the MF. The residual is set by MB but the MF could be manipulated by the stealership...

I got like almost $10K off my 2011 about 3 months ago. MSRP was $55,725. Got it for $45,886 +TTL after sale price, and $4K off luxury conquest discount.

Conquest cash is still $4k on the 2011's. It never applied to the 2012's.

Conquest for 2012 was always $2k. I suspect it will go up at the end of the year.

Thanks. What is the "cut off time" to get this, btw? Can you get it at any time during the Lease?

Damn, nor bad! Leasing is such a funny game. A $20-$30K more expensive car for $50 a month more? Someone's taking it on the chin (M-B Financial).

About the $450 a month payment. That's a smart way to calculate it, but I don't think I've ever heard anyone getting an E so cheap, even a bare-bones model.

Actually, a friend of mine was able to get a P1 2011 diesel a few months ago for under $400 a month including tax..so yes, it is quite common but deal like this only works on diesel with a 2 yr lease due to the super high residual...

yes you are right but in my situation, the 8 month lease accelerated program is too attractive not to take advantage of especially i have only 4500 miles left to drive on my lease that is not due until the end of sept 2012..so i am getting a ton of free mileage in a way but less discount compare to getting the car next year, with the prediction of more conquest cash but who knows....

That's just crazy. The E350 must be the best value deal on the car market, Lease-wise. Anywhere under mid $400's is practically approaching fully loaded Camry territory. I don't get how M-B still makes a profit with such artificially heightened residuals.

Edit: DUH, of course, this Thread just answered my question as to how M-B can actually maintain a profit margin with these crazy slashed prices/Lease deals, especially on a Luxury item: OVER-MILEAGE CHARGES!!

I showed this thread to a friend of mine, a sales manager at one of SW FL's Mercedes dealerships in AutoNation's network. He could not stop laughing. A complete BS (his words, not mine). Under $400/month for an E350 with $0 down? That is a C300 P1 at best. They're doing some C250s in high 3rd of $300s.

What's funny, is that EVERY Dealer that I go to, still say that they're Leasing out P2 E350's for like $600-700 a month with like $4-5K Down (what E-Classes usually costed without the todays crazy incentives).

Even when they try and get me to trade in from my current car (what I did to get my payments actually dropped from my 2010 to 2011, since the 2011 had far more incentives), when I told them that I pay $560 a month (with taxes), they say that they can't get close to matching that, not to mention a downpayment if I have no equity in the car, i.e, "Hold on to it".

Message Boards are a good place to come for the savvy buyer who wants to churn out the craziest deals possible. But the prices that we talk about here as "normal" are very much unrealistic to many layman shoppers who just go to the Dealer closest to them, don't search Online for deals, and don't shop Dealers or check incentives (i.e, the average shopper).

Done deal and your friends and sales mgr can laugh all he wants..$408 a month including tax for a $60450 msrp car...$0 down and just paying the total drive off and did the msd option that bought down the money factor to. 00155..for those who lease in CA, $1095 is the set acq fee and no way to negotiate that, even though it is advertised as $795 in the national ad...they even waived another payment from my previous lease since I had 10 payments left...I feel I probably got one of the best deal ive heard......and 36.6 mpg from this morning's drive makes this a very sweet ride!

That's the kind of number I got for gas version with due to lower residual ...if u don't mind driving a diesel, the deal is just incredible

Wow. Deal of the century indeed.

Do you mind providing name of the dealer and sales rep there, as well as monthly payment had you not done "msd option"? I'm sure there are a number of members here (or their friends/relatives) who would love to drive a 2012 E350 diesel for $0 down and about $400/month (how many months was that again for?).

Mercedes e350 BlueTec
I calculate that buying a $60445 car with $10K off, $795 acquisition fee, $500 administrative fee, 10 MSD's on a 24 month 10K lease (77% residual) of a 2012 350 BlueTec would have a monthly charge before taxes of $398 per month.

Not sure how your friend got $10K off on a 2012 even with conquest, past leaser and USAA insurance discount. This also assumes a $795 fee vs $1095 which is "the going rate" and a $500 administration fee which is below what I've seen. So yes, paying $408 including tax is a stretch....not a laughable stretch, but still a big stretch.

I'd could more easily believe the price if it were a 2011. Curiosity makes me ask if it really is a 2012 or a late 2011 which is effectively the identical car to the 2012 (very minor changes...transmission tweak and LED taillights being the only two I'm aware of))

ThreeMBs....without multiple security deposits and using the same numbers I used above, the monthly charge would be $467 per month on a 24 month lease.

Note: I've seen both 77% and 78% as the residual for a 2012 bluetec after 24 months. If it's 78%, then the numbers I've shown above are for 12K per year.....and the numbers for 10K would be $374 and $443 depending on whether you took multiple security deposits.

I got the same as you:

Lease calculation:

1. "Rent portion":

77% residual of $60.5K MSRP is $46.6K. For easier calculations, lets say $14K. But wait, there is an additional (assumed) $10K off MSRP. Now only $4K left. Over 24 payment, its only say $167/month.

2. "Finance part":

MSRP of $60.5K + (assumed) selling price of $50.5K, is $111K. Multiply by previously given money factor of only .00155 is about $172/month.

3. Add above two, you get $339. Add "bank fees" into monthly payments and it comes down to another $62. I got $401/month (before CA tax of what is it 9.75%?). With tax should be $440 (not possible even close in FL).

So there are two unkowns left: how do you get $10K off on a brand new 2012 E350 BlueTec (not possible in FL for example - they want close to MSRP) and on top of that a .00155 money factor?

Was all above possible due to so called "only on this car" deal - can't choose options, color, etc.?

The .00155 mf is easy....it's using multiple security deposits, no negotiations necessary. As far as list price, I would try Costco buying service or Zag/Amex/Bank America both of which will help get roughly $3300 below MSRP.

Well that is still over $6K off short or additional $250/month + tax more.

I called MB Financial today to inquire about Lease Mileage Packages. Once again, they had no idea about whether they do or don't provide that (who is supposed to know then?), and said to check with a Dealer (who when I Leased my car said only MBFS would know that) or the Customer Service line, which was closed today. The Representative said that they probably won't, and it would probably be stuck at the .25 over charge.

My dealer said today that you can pre-buy miles at 20 cents per mile and unused miles are refundable. He said he would check on the timeframe tomorrow and see if he can get it in writing

If you can fwd that to me that'd be appreciated. I dunno why MBFS is so in the dark on this. Maybe they have some policy to not try and sell it? The "refundable unused Mileage" is the most important thing to me here, and with that I might just get it, as I'm pretty much certain that I'm gonna transfer my E's designation from beauty queen to work horse (kinda sadly, I might add, but it's the logical step), however, want the assurance that if I trade in the car early or my plans change, etc., I can get that extra money back.
