Congrats on the deal. Is it a 2012 model? Whats the break up of the 10K off? Are there any diesels left? I did an online search in some of the dealerships, but couldnt find any diesels left.

I don't know where you guys are getting these prices. I went to www.edmunds.com and priced a 2012 E-Class Sedan. MSRP was $67,095 and the True Market Value (what others have paid) was $65,775. That is $1320 under MSRP. Why the big discrepancy? Edmunds has alway been fairly accurate when I have used them before.

Edmunds has never gotten the price right for me. Truecar.com, on the other hand has been pretty much spot on but they don't often include all of the incentives that you have to find on your own.

Another interesting thing to do is to go onto Leastrader.com, and see the prices people are paying there.

We're talking some E350's at $700-$900, I even saw some for more! Don't even think any of them were P2 cars to boot.

Yes please let me know where I can lease a 2012 e350 for less than 500 a month no money down. I am definitely interested. Cheapest i found here in NYC was 2012 e350 with Nav, 569/month no money down 10K miles/year 24 months.

2011 BMW X5d, 2011 Nissan Leaf and Kubota L39 Tractor!
The key to this deal is (1) dealer discounting about $5K. (2) qualifying for either the $2K conquest or winter event incentive (they can't be combined) and (3) the $2K MB Financial incentive. Everyone qualifies for number two. Number three is only available to current MB Financial lease or finance customers.

Thanks for the clarification. I will qualify for both 2 and 3. The problem is to find the dealer who will do 5000 off.
Any pointers would help.

Only MBs - the best or nothing
The point of the thread was NOT to brag about a "one off" deal (just like I said before, "they" could not do it again) - and its highly questionable if it happened at all, as NOONE can come even close to it, as even with month and year end, dealer is loosing money on it - but to find a common ground that people can base their negotiations on.

Correct. Many of these internet deals only happen behind the keyboard of the 16 year old typing on the keyboard or have a long backstory.

Depending on how the dealer assesses your desires, they can give you a great deal on the new car and make it up on your trade, or they can give you a great deal on your trade and screw you on the new car.

There may be instances where you have a history with the dealer and he'll sell you something at or below his actual cost to keep you as his customer.

There are regional issues as well. How well are luxury cars selling in your area? I was in Florida in September and met a friend who was in the market for a 350 there. A week earlier, the DC dealer was offering $9k off on a 2011 (and said the sales manager might take an offer of $10k under MSRP) but the Florida dealer was holding fast to $2k under MSRP before the $4k conquest discount (so $6k under.) A second Florida dealer was the same way.

I've found that USAA will normally come pretty close to rock bottom pricing for your area. That's usually verified by places like truecar.com that seem a lot more accurate than the Edmunds values.

From my research, it appears that the best deals out there are about 10% off before any financing loyalty discounts.

Thanks CEB for chiming in.

This forum has been an eye opener.

Can one of the informed members clarify the following:

1. Are the discounts different for the E350 gas vs Diesel?
2. Also is the discount more for 2011 vs 2012 for E350 gas.
3. What is the MF and RV for E350 gas for 24 months and 10000 miles ?(diesel is .00225 and 78%)
4. There is no all wheel drive option in diesel ? (I had 2 CAs saying different things)

Thanks once again.

Depends on the market for diesels in your area. Resduals for leasing diesels are much higher
2. Also is the discount more for 2011 vs 2012 for E350 gas.
Yes. I think that $10k+ off is not unreasonable.
3. What is the MF and RV for E350 gas for 24 months and 10000 miles ?(diesel is .00225 and 78%)

There is no 4matic option for diesel E series in the US. Any dealer who says otherwise is a complete idiot.

Thanks once again.
Anytime. I'm not a leaser so I can't help with the money factor or residual.

I just talked to my dealer about E Bluetec couple days ago. He said RV after 2 years lease with 12K miles is 75%. That is why ( I think ) to lease E diesel is much cheaper than to buy it.

I believe your dealer is wrong on the residual...it is higher than 75% for a 24 mo 12K lease....either 76 or 77%

here you go guys..mystery solve for this 16yo that appears to be bragging about an impossible deal..take this contract to your dealership and see if they can beat it..good luck to all and i hope that you guys can all get a good deal or even one better than mine as my intention here is to share my research and experience with other enthusiasts...

just keep in mind that timing, supply and demand, dealership's performance for the FY, the mood of the boss at that day, and the customer's relationship with the dealership are all different factors..of course at the end of the day, it is all about how good of a negotiator you are and how much homework you did..

Please note that I didn't single any one deal out as written by a 16 year old behind a keyboard in the basement of his mother's house. My point was that the majority of these really sweet deals are one-offs for one reason or another or just made up numbers to make others feel bad.

If all goes well, I should be getting my E350 this weekend for about 11% under MSRP with another few hundred in freebies thrown in.

Honestly I would be happy to pay under $500 a month to lease a new E class. $408 a month is quite amazing! Great deal!

One interesting thing I noticed is that my current payoff is at $47K, however, when I add up my Residual value, and my remaining payments (taking tax out of the equation), it comes out to about $52K. Is there some kind of discount they give you when paying off in full, in advance, or is their math just shoddy? I called in to ask about it, and the Operator said that there's no discount in paying the car off early.

Also, another MB Financial Operator told me something different AGAIN about purchasing extra mileage. This time, she said that you can get it when you sign the Lease at the Dealer, for .20c overage, however, the Dealer said that you had to call MB Financial. Each time I've called MB Financial, I've gotten a different answer. Really ridiculous.

If you're referring to me, I'm not upside down unless I choose to get out of the car early, and any excess mileage fees would have come out of my pocket via depreciation when I'd choose to sell the car anyway. I also have enough liquid capital to pay the car off entirely right now, and don't even consider $47K for a well equipped P2 2011 E-Class with 9K miles and a perfect (my) history to be high for the regular market anyway. If I were to decide to keep the car as my non-work horse and get a second car to cut out all the long distance driving (unlikely now), I'd strongly considering buying it out for that price.

My deal

I just purchased a 2012 E350 Wagon at a nice discount. The MSRP was $67100 and my purchase was $60,800. It could have been a $1K lower if that car was available nearby. However, they had to get it from St. Petersburg in Florida, which cost me another $1000 to ship it here. Looked at about seven different dealers and this was the best deal by a good $2K. What complicated the transaction is that 2012 wagons in white color are pretty hard to find. I was lucky to even get a Diamond White in Premium II (my non-negotiable requirement). Had this car been on the lot like a sedan, then it would have been much lower priced.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for posting your deal numbers in the first place. I was aiming for a similar deal across the country. I couldnt get the selling price that you got. Wish I got hold of your lease document pic a little earlier (before I pulled the trigger). I could have done a little better. Over all I am happy with my deal (see see the post below).

Once again a lot of thanks to everyone pitching in.

I signed the lease deal on E350 BT yesterday.
MSRP - $ 63999
Selling price - $ 55609
Acq fee - $ 725
MF - .00115 {Buy rate .00225 minus .00030 (A1 credit) minus .00070 (10 MSDs) minus .00010 (Auto pay)}
RV - 78% = $ 49919.92 (24 months and 10000 miles per yer)
Tax - 6.75 % (Ohio)
Drive off - $6186.57 {First month (419.69) + Doc fee (250) + DMV (16.88 )+ 10 Refundable MSD (5500)}
Per month payment - $419.69

There are a few E350 BT left in the country to get before the year end incentives expire. If you are in the market go get one now. It is an amazing car
Good luck everyone.

Pics to follow.

Now I have to transfer the lease on my ML....

WHAT THE F***?! It seems like a crazy secret regarding how cheap BT's are to Lease?! I would have always though the Diesels would be much more expensive because they're much lower volume.

I'm not a big Diesel fan (not the logistics here, it's simply a personal and "feeling" thing), but I would have gotten a Diesel had I known about how insanely cheap they are to Lease, no question.
