Ok so Ive had the car for 45 days and my first "wtf" moment is the round spinning wheel on the console. I posted in the tech area,,some guy said go to the dealer and switch it out,,gee thanks.![Stick Out Tongue](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
But has anyone experienced the scrolling feature of said button quit on them, and or is it something we can re-institute? Nothing was introduced such as water,,no one sat on it, so should it just stop?
Thanks in advance.

Wow great,,any loss of memory or such? Or is it just like booting your PC?Ill try anything once so as to avoid the dealer,,which is time consuming.

MB needs to seriously address component failures. NOTHING should fail in less than 50,000 miles, if then.

LOL yes sir it may come to that.
I would like to try a home remedy before getting involved with the dealer,,they just had my car 2 hours because the mbrace function needed to be re-instituted,and they gave me an extra 3 months freebie service
I completely agree it should not have gone out.![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)

Ok I had the dealer switch the button,,of course they had to order the part. But it was covered and the timing was good as I needed to do some fancy scrolling ala the Nav system in Fla.![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)
Im hoping this is a one time issue, but like we said before,,with well under
20K miles this ought not have happened.
