Bluetooth question
When my cell phone connects, the screen shows "Ready" and 5 boxes (bars). In uper right corner if Audio screen, bottom if nav screen.
Only 1-2 are filled, but after a while seems 4 may be filled, but never all 5. What do these boxes indicate? Can't find it in the manual.
Have been driving under cell towers and doesn't seem to move. Phone is fully charged.
Thanks.

Just like on your phone, those indicate the strength of your cell phone connection. I have had all 5 filled, but 3 or 4 works fine for me. I've got a spot near my house that is a 1 bar, and I've dropped a call or two there.

both ghstudio and ttoe550 are correct. if all five are emptied, it'll show "no service". you can check if you go to some parking structures or basements.

In my experience, those signal strength bars do not update as you drive unless you activate the phone. When I start my car at the shooting range, 1 bar, it stays 1 bar as I drive into town. Only if I make or receive a call does it update to 4 or 5 bars.

hmmm...mine changes in a matter of minutes. from none which shows "no service" to five filled which shows "ready". i'm experiencing/seeing this every day from driving off the parking structure to outdoor on the street.
