New E350 BTEC Delivered.....Finally!

Actually, our car came with Bridgestone Turanza EL400 runflats. The only diesel I saw without the Goodyears. I looked at cars.com and did a search for E350 with diesel and found my car. I know that my most local dealers will not try and trade close to home so I only had to go an hour away.
Basically, I stumbled onto this car and put it on hold until we got rid of our GL. It all happened in March, so the lease is incredible. The ride of the tires seems good, and I've never been a fan of Goodyear tires so I assume these may be a little better. Our's was built in Jan 2012 by the way, so maybe they changed to Bridgestone recently? I was told that there were only 2 Bluetecs with P2 being built for the rest of the model year. So we jumped on this one.

I always try to just be entirely happy with the deal I get, but I just have to check the next month to see what if I had waited....
Well, this month the USAA cash went down to $2k. So I am even more happy I found the car loaded like I wanted and got all the March discounts. Can't wait to see what MB did with the residual and/or loyalty cash on the E for April!
Taking it easy on the drivetrain for the break in period, but pushed it a little last night and man does the torque become addictive. May not be the fastest off the line, but after that the acceleration is just plain fun!

Yes, P2 is not easy to come by. I wanted to find it before I bought mine at the end of last year but could not so I bought P1 with Bridgeston tire. Ride is good and have no problems at all so far. I don't like Good year. People that have never driven BlueTec automatically don't like it because it is diesel but once they have driven comparing with other car, they change their mind, my friend did. He went to buy E350 gas but end up buying BlueTec. He loves it now. Of course, he loves fuel mileage.
