The Mercedes Benz AMG Performance Test Drive Event video
Last year they had this event here in my area and I got a chance to take several different AMGs around a closed course
I had a blast and I got bit by the E-Class bug. Ever since then I wanted an E63, of course what I could afford was an E550, which I totally love! They were really cool and let me video tape the run. Turn up your volume and check it out.

I was really starting to enjoy that car when I traded it....
love the sound of the engine and the way it hooks up when

they let you test drive the car all by yourself? before i go to the dealers, i always do my homeworks ahead of time. don't want to test drive anything i can't afford. don't even want to walk anywhere close to one. otherwise i'll just keep thinking about the more expensive one .

They had the C63, E63, CLS63, and the SL63. There was someone sitting in the car with you to make sure you didn't go too crazy and kill too many cones. They just want you to test drive the heck out of them and then give your feed back. This event has happened the last 2 years, but this year I haven't heard anything. I hope they bring it back around. I really enjoyed them and it is chance to test drive different cars without the pressure of a salesperson trying to sell you one. Because of this event, I traded in my 07 CL550 for a 2011 E550.

He is there to make sure there is enough space between the cars on the track. When gave me the go, I looked at the other car ahead and figure it was still too close and didn't want end up behind a slower driver. Thats why I hesitated.
Not sure if you can hear the comments from the passengers. That was my buddy and his wife and this was their first event. They were taking it easy at first. Told them to get in the backseat, sit down and hang on.

I attended the AMG driving event in 2011 in my area which was on a private race track. A lot of fun and the opportunity to drive the AMG vehicles. I checked the event schedule for the track as I had not received an invitation this year and it does not appear to being held this year in our area.

I am, that was a fun event. I attended on Saturday last year. I recently checked the club track events for the year and it is not scheduled. Last year the invitations went out in late March and the event was on a weekend in May.
