Question on tire pressure

On my 2012 Luxury model, the normal pressures shown on the gas filler door are 35/36. My friend, with a 2011 E550, and the same Michelin Tires said his shows 30/35. With his heavier engine, I would think that his front recommended pressures would be higher than mine.
I wonder if for 2012 they might have raised the recommended pressures to get a slight improvement in mpg?
I would like to know, if someone has a 2011 E350 Luxury, what is shown for the normal tire pressures?

Mine's kinda funny, the door jamb reads 35/39,the fuel filler door reads "standard load 35/36,full load 35/39".However,it's a diesel with run flats,so that might make for different recommendations.

I have mine (run flats) filled to the suggested 35/36 when cold.

I notice they go to about 39/40 when they're warmed up and cruising on the highway, which I do quite a bit.

Is that OK, or should I lower them a little?
