Question on style of wheels with Sport pkg

Just committed to lease a 2012 E350W4 Sport package. In production either now or in a few days.

My order under the 321 package says 18" 5-spoke alloy wheel. But when I look at the brochure, I see a split 5 spoke wheel.

Will the car come with the 5 solid spoke wheels (which I do like) or the split 5-spoke wheels. Very confusing.

Thanks

Standard is the solid spoke wheel.

Thanks Don.

The brochure is very confusing. It refers to the split 5 spoke as part of the E350 Sport sedan. I much prefer the solid 5 spokes.

Umm...negative. The new '12s are rolling out w/ the split 5-spoke. I know because mine came w/ those and the dealer agreed to swap out '11 MY wheels (solid 5-spoke) w/ the new ones. The Operations/Inventory Manager explicitly said that the new '12s are being delivered w/ the split 5-spoke, which isn't to my liking (as evidenced in my sig--'11 MY rims! )... Hope that helps!

Appology to the OP. This appears to be true on the '12's. Mine is an '11 and the solid 5 spoke was standard on the sport.

The standard split 5 spoke on the 2012 appears to be the asymetrical one. Not to my liking either!

Regards,
Don

They are lighter and that is important for wheels! Need to look for the positives.
