This is news from today!

It is for the wagon, but it says that the new 2013 e350 will have more HP. This confirms what two dealer salesmen said to me. However, some people here have said that is not going to happen and that the updates will be for 2014/2015. We will find out very soon! (My 2013 gets built in 5 weeks)

Any of these changes will come for the U.S 2014 facelift model, NOT the 2013! M-B has ALWAYS revealed the upcoming changes to Europe first, and this will be no exception!

Car Magazine's are as bad at reporting the news as they are at doing fair comparison tests. 2013 facelift MY will be for Europe, and even that's a stretch.

I want that diesel hybrid E Class that they displayed at the Detroit Auto Show last January!!! Merecedes claims 4.1 litres per 100km (about 55 mpg) and 550 ft lbs of torque.But they told me it will be "Europe only".

They had to do something given that the current BMW 550 is half a second quicker than the E550. They should have done this to begin with as the E class V8 has generally always been faster than the 5-series V8 -- at least for straight line acceleration.

In any case I'm glad Mercedes is "fixing" this issue to stay competitive.

Can someone please explain to me though how they can avoid turbo lag with just one turbo charger?

PS: I hope they know what they are doing. I'd hate for the E class to look like a slightly larger C class.

I already have all the details & packaging for 2013 E-Classes in Canada (US will be no different).

There is no updated bodystyling.

The 4.6L is still a Biturbo.

I've said it before and I will repeat it again. The 2013 E class is introduced in Europe in the Spring of 2013, therefore the changes. In North America, this will be introduced in Sept. of 2013 as a 2014 model.

I wish I was wrong because my wife has a 2013 E coupe being built June 19th. Any changes on this car will be very minor software improvements and absolutely nothing else!!!

WEB, where did you get that info about the bmw 5 being .5 seconds faster then the Mb 5? just curious, because I read that the new bmw 5's new body style is heavier then the MB and the MB is faster. I'm just talking 0-60, and 1/4 mile. Every magazine is different depending on which brand they like, but just wondering what you have seen.

I think our W212s will be better designed yet dinstictive look then facelift models considering no quad lights, upright grill , no ponton fenders available for next model
