New member: ordered a 2013 E350

I've admired German autos since my time there years ago, but have been a die hard GM fan for my personal rides. That all changed a year ago when I bought my wife a new (2012) C250 Sport. Though it rode a little firmer than I expected, I fell in love with it! Fast forward a year...I was off of work during the week and was looking for something to do. I made the mistake of test driving an E350 Sport...done deal! I fell in love with everything about the car! Since then I've ordered this car:

E350 Sport package
Iridium Silver
Black leather
P1
Heated and & active ventilated seats
Active Drivers seat
Pano roof
Keyless go
Deck spoiler
wheel package

USAA Discount

Hoping to have it by mid-Oct.

Normal Delivery Time

Can anyone tell me what the normal delivery time is? My dealer is telling me mid OCT. That sounds like longer than I've been hearing.

Welcome. You must be so excited. It is an awesome car. Very happy with my purchase. I ordered a e350 2013. I got it two weeks ago. It takes 8-10 weeks for the east coast.

You might get a better deal negotiating on price and using conquest instead of USAA. That is how it worked out for me this month. Check the offers again in October. It changes month to month.

Thanks for the reply! What's Conquest? The usaa deal works out to be right around 10% off of MSRP.

Mercedes offers a number of discounts..USAA is one of them, conquest is another. Conquest money applies if you drive most any other car (it used to be competitive car, but they've loosened that up). Conquest and USAA are not stackable, but you can compare both and see which gives you the best deal.

If I'm reading Conquest right, they're only offering $1000 or $1500 off of the 13 Eclass. I do own a Caddilac, so I would qualify. Usaa is way better right now.

USAA

Assume you have USAA. They are pretty good about giving credits for various safety features. I think they can pull un VIN and see what's on the car.
However, they do give a small discount for DRL's and this may not show up. Happy Motoring

Don't think that the USAA pricing is as low as you can go. Let the dealer know you are a USAA member and make an offer lower than what USAA provides. The dealer still gets money from USAA so they can actually sell lower. I ended up around $2000 below what the USAA certificate had on it.

I just leased 2013 e350 (MSRP $60k) and lease return 2010 R350(MSRP $59k) for 2yr/24k mi. They offer to take back my R350 with 5 pmts remain (~$4k) plus $1k total drive off and $535/mo. Including local tax plus 2 yrs service contract. $200 saving to drive a newer and nicer car, why not. Kids are happier with Van but I have to drive it
I think I got mB loyalty cash (similar to conquest or USAA) + fleet employee discount (check with ur company ) ...on paper, sales price is $50k.

$88K - $75K = $13K

How do you arrive at $8K

Build date of 10 SEPT. What's a realistic delivery date to the East coast (Georgia)? 1st week of Oct., maybe?

I'd look for it towards the end of October, and maybe be a bit happy if it's early you know? I've waited too.....I can identify with the anxiety.......
while I was waiting for my first MB, I was happy as hell when it was early....

I AM chomping at the bit! I just stopped by the dealer, after closing, to look at the E cars on the lot. Probably not a great thing to do since it leaves you second guessing colors, options, etc. No real issue...I am still very happy with the way I put the order together.

How long are most having to wait?
