Just happened to be back at the computer for a minute. Not bad, for MB at least. $25 off next maintenance or repair. I'll use it when I need to get my winter tires mounted and balanced.

Thanks for the link!

If this is about saving $25 on the service of a car that cost about $55 000 at a minimum when the service itself is somewhere around $400 - $700, why do you, or MB in the matter of fact, even want to post this?

I take it as an insult!

If they offered $250 discount or higher it would be ok.

Guys, you have a very expensive car that you drive. You cannot possibly be desperate enough to be going after a $25 service discount.

If you are I need to find another MB forum.

Arrie,
Not sure where you're coming from, even what planet. Yes, my car was almost $65k. Before that it was a GL that was almost $75k and so on. Maybe the reason we can manage nice cars is because we manage money well.

If you are walking down the street and $25 is in front of you on the sidewalk, do you keep walking? I doubt it. Likely you will pick it up. Some might even donate it to a cause. I will be at my MB dealer, with my $65k car for a $100 tire mount and rotation. I will pay $75. Or whatever it is. That is a 25% discount, or 25% that I can do something else with. Keep the vitriol to yourself, or maybe you should find a new forum.

arrie, $25 might not be anything for you and you probably don't even want to pick it up on the street just because they are not your money. but $25 is $25 in this kind of economy. there are a lot of multi-millionaires or even billionaires still think nothing wrong with free money. but to each his own. just to let you know, troy is getting $25 doesn't meant you or i'll get the same amount. don't know how does it work but some guys are getting $125 off $250 or more on service.

I wonder if MB gives the value based on random application or if they match to VIN? Maybe their computer knows I have prepaid maintenance and would not use $200 worth of service? But they see a lot of small dealer charges and want to throw something my way? Could their marketing be that smart?

How about others getting higher values: do you typically do A and B service at dealer for charge or prepaid?

Oh, c'mon. The richest people I know penny pinch the most out of anybody I know. "A dollar saved is a dollar made", and so on. Part of why any of us can afford what we can extend our budgets to is because of how we manage our money.

Yes, I have (Lease) a $60K car, but maybe I'm focusing on getting (buying) a $90K 911 next.. so gimme them coupons!

Some of us ended up buying these cars after saving our money and being careful on what we spend money. $25 here, $50 there, $200 somewhere else day after day, month after month, year after year, it adds up to real money -- at least for some of us

Thanks for posting the coupon. I'll use it at my next visit

i got the email right away. once you clicked on the email link, you have to click print in order to get the coupon. you might want to check your junk mail box.

Make sure you tell the service people to fill your windshield washer reservoir only HALF WAY -- this will keep it under $50

you must have good relationship w/your dealer. mine charges more than that .
talk about windshield, i know wiper blades aren't expensive but i'm quite surprise to hear how relatively reasonable to have them change in the dealer, maybe $40 or less . i still remember my previous bmw's one are $150 or more but lucky thing they were under the 4-year maintenance free program . so for the ones who have the $25 coupon, not sure if we can get three blades and make it over $50 .
