I am in the same position as you. It actually becomes more painful month after month. It really is my only complaint about my E550. Great vehicles. If it's your left thigh that hurts take a look at DRZ's solution at the end of the thread. Maybe this may help your situation?

During the 10-15 minute test drive, I noticed some discomfort but expected that I would be able to adjust the seats into a comfortable spot. I love everything else about the car but need to be comfortable during my 2.25 hours of daily driving. What a shame....my wife's C250 has such comfortable seats.
UPDATE: dealer replaced seats cushion under warrantywarranty. I have only spent about 30 minutes in it since picking it up. First impression is it feels better but will still not be super comfortable. Time will tell.

I know what you guys are talking about for the seats.. They are so stiff after a long ride.
It bothers me so much that I just want to get it to an upholsterer to get it done, but I am not sure what to do with it. Add high quality leather and cushion????

Can we just retrofit the multicontour seat?

Anybody know a reputable upholsterer in LA/OC Area???

I tried both standard and optional seats before specifying a 2014 E550. The standard seats were more comfortable for me, so I selected those. Neither seat was excellent, but the standard seat is tolerable. Our other cars do better on seating comfort, but the MB excels in other areas.

c class 250 cdi 2011
Unhappy c class seats 2011

Ive had my c class for 2 years. Have tried every possible configuration of the front seats without success.
The most uncomfortable car I have ever had.
Recently drove with my 22 year old and 25 year old adult kids and they both complained about the comfort of the front seats.
Lumbar support is cranked to full. Zero lower back support.
Every time I get out of the car after say 1 hr or more drive I have to stretch and deal with back Pain.

Its been suggested I cut compressed foam to insert as a wedge in the bottom of both front seats.

Frankly its like sitting on boards its so uncomfortable.

Previously had a Honda Accord Euro and seats were brilliant. Could drive all day in Comfort.

Not what I expected from a MB even thou its a small C Class.

Will look at getting out of this care early next year and wont buy another MB again.

I expected supreme comfort in my first MB. Can do far far better in a BMW or other brand that pays attention to owner driving comfort.

Any Thoughts please?

I really like Honda Accord look and design. I can see a simply beautiful Accord in dark red in a neighbor company parking lot. Honda looks also very good inside and I bet it has same feature as MB. You can also consider more expensive version of Accord as Acura RL. It is AWD.

I love the comfort of my E. I went on several 4+ hour drives and my seat felt great.
