Will CLS63 AMG wheels fit W212?
Have a line on a set of new 2012 CLS63 takeoffs with tires and dig the look. Will these fit the W212 with no spacers, mods, etc..?
Tire sizes:
FRONT: 255/35/19
REAR: 285/30/19

Looks like the stoc E550 wheels are +48 F / +50 R with a 5 x 112 bolt pattern. Is this correct?
From what I can find the CLS63 is +25 F / +28 R so assuming I will be sticking out ~20mm more on both ends. Is this correct or do I have backwards and will be ~20mm closer to the hub on both ends.
This offset thing makes my head spin.

can't you just try mounting them? or are they far away?

Little too far away to mount for test. Was hoping someone had already been down this path and could tell me from experience. Are the forged wheels the same as your's?

C218 CLS63 wheels will fit all W212 beautifully with zero issues.

threeMBs - thank you. I struggled to find current info on the 12/13 CLS63 and my google-fu is weak today. These wheels would give me a pretty agressive stance but not look "too custom" for clients.
Hype - don't suppose you could do a test fit next time you are swapping rims around could you? Normally wouldn't think of suggesting but you change wheels like most folks change socks. :P

don't know if that's a possiblility because the ones I have still have tires on them and can't go in my ash interior haha......I'd have to ask my wife to follow me over there....
threeMB's is pretty damn good.....our wheel and tire expert.....someone should nominate him to be a wheel and tire guru for the forums!
goodluck!

They do have a similar style but will fill out the fender a bit more. I think have a slightly more aggressive style that the 18" AMG style wheels that came on the 550 and hopefully will set it apart just enough to be different from the sea of white E's in SoCal.

unless your 19" set is free from your friend or unbelievably cheap, why not shop for other styles ?

Fair question and ave looked at other options but know little to nothing on the different brands other than HRE, Mandrus, Vossen, etc... Not ready to dump $7-10K on wheels and not sure where the "B" grade brands start and the "C" grade brands begin. Seems to be a wide spread in price and don't know what the extra $$$ get you. I do know MB makes a prety damn good wheel so was taking the easy way out. i also like the pseudo stock look with a more aggressive stance. The other option I considered was the stock E63 wheels.

I know what you mean......after I got my 550 I wanted to explore wheel options too......
the Mandrus were 1000 for the set and that seemed expensive to me at the time...the Vossens were around 3K I think
the HRE's were 6 and 5...but I started to learn-through ownership- the in's and out's, up's and down's of owning and caring for aftermarket wheels.......
so I just kept at it slowly.....and with the help of the forum of course, like you mentioned, I was able to see and get feedback about daily use......and company reputations....and a lot of different idea's and angles on them......
I'm already thinking about my next set for my 550......really want something so chromed
and the total opposite I've had so far LOL....

Hype - option 1 looks killer! Wish I was your little brother to get your hand-me-downs. Lol
BTW - You need to find a support group. Repeat after me "My name is Hype and I have a wheel problem."
BM2BZ - found them local, fresh set of dealer take-offs.

Porsche 911 Turbo S 2014! E63S 14, Audi S8 13, CLS63 12, E550 12, C63 09, all tuned
Ok, I put my 2012 CLS 63pp wheels on my 2010 E63 no problem.
I then shipped the 2010 E63 18" rims North to Snow country and mount them, and get this on E550 tuned 4matic, went and ran a 12.5 qtr mile.
I then conclude they will fit.
