Excellent choice (both). What gives them pop is the fact they're concave in a clean HRE kind of way. That is what will set your car off and make is stand out from anything with a lip (nothing against lips, i have em). I was waiting for HRE to move to concave ealier this year and, well, here we are. Show us the way! (Concave has been trending for a while, but when HRE jumps in, you have a great forged alternative.) The way you're spending on rims, you can buy a new set every time a new trend comes around anyway. Haha.

Re: finish, satin black or some type of off black (dark gun metal or antrhicite) would look amazing IMO. Also good news that you're willing to move to 19s. You will not regret it. maybe even going staggered as well? Can't chicken out on offsets with concave rims or you'll lose the effect.

my $.02

ryden that's a great point about the concave because it is a really great look....
I guess I'm just catching up on the styles.....I usually don't feel to worried about whats hot or not......just go where my eyes tell me it's right you know?
I seem to recall as long as the wheels are the same I'll be okay......currently have
18x8.5 all around......and going to a 19 x something will be fine I'm sure, and I would like to have that concave business be apparent on the car.....

it's funny how much of a hobby this has become.....
thanx for the comment!

Those HRE's are dead sexy and like the gun metal ones vs the chrome lip. I could see myself wanting to give them a quick wipe down after getting out of the car....everytime. Obsessive-Compulsive issues here

I keep coming back to these TSW Nurburgring rims. Everytime I go wheel browsing I am drawn to this style and specifcally these rims. DNAPoPo is running these in black 20's and looks killer. Bonus is that a set of 4 costs less than a single HRE rim. Did I mention I am a cheap ******* also. lol...

Also in black

Pretty sure my mind is made up...calling ThreeMB's to set me straight on tire sizes, off-sets, rim width.

The P47SC are SICK!

I would totally go with the tinted brushed clear finish. Seriously one of the best finishes out there at the moment IMHO!

IMO the 567r's are too old school looking for the W212. They remind me of old school Breytons, AC Schnitzer, RD sport type wheels.

they look great point! don't be ridiculous!! LOL, you're not cheap!!! I wipe my black wheels down A LOT haha, and also, that inner black color
will save your butt too, mine look terrible on the inside, and are hard to get too.....

I like that one too, but don't know how hard that finish would be to keep clean....

really?? think so?
I like these because of the gun metal and the huge lip, something I have not had yet, the mandrus have a small lip, but not that fat of one.........
really these are no bueno?from a style perspective?

Ditto on everything he said and the dark gun metal or anthracite finish is a must. Personally, I would have to go with 20", but 19"is just fine and will be a real eye catcher.

Can't wait to see pics.

Well, of course it's just my opinion, but yes, too old school BMW looking to me. I like the looks of gunmetal (especially matte) and a nice fat lip also, it's just that particular style. It's the thin split spokes and edge details.

How about something with a straight, chunky 5 spoke, a la

or

Sorry, couldn't find a pic of gunmetal.
