E-Class (W212) 2010 - 2016: E 350, E 550

Had hip surgery, I have to drive my truck now :(

Had hip surgery, I have to drive my truck now :(

It's only for a week but she's so beautiful in the garage, she calls to me

hope you get better soon . don't rush it. she's always sitting in your garage and you can start the engine whenever you like .

haha, my poor truck never gets attention anymore.....
it's a 1998 ford f150 with JUST over 100k on the ody.......thing is pristene too.....
has a remote start that I use to start it up every few days.......haha

You don't specify what kind of surgery you had but I had a total hip replacement a couple of years ago and recovery was slow...to me,at least.I can't remember how long it took for me to get close to normal,driving-wise,but it wasn't *that* long.Although your surgery might have been more complicated than mine I can assure you that with hip replacements,at least, it certainly doesn't take forever to get back to living.

No full hip just yet.. I had a labral debridement, acetabularplasty, femoral neck osteoplasty and a few other plasty's

Yup,I had all that before the THR.It was long enough ago that I don't recall the recovery very well but I don't think it was that bad.In my case,at least,it help for a few years then things went south again.Of course that might not be true in *your* case.You'll very probably be back to your W212 before too long.
