Front Middle two light replacement?

Hey guys, I have a e350 with the p2 package. The middle two light is noticably more yellow than the outside xenon lights that I got from the p2 package.

Anybody did any replacements on the middle ones to match the outside xenons? I don't want just the color but also the quality. And of course, error free.

Any comments would be appreciated!

I will look into him. Thanks!

Does anyone know how much I will be looking at for the front middle less?

EDIT: Also, are the bulbs from the outside headlights the same size as the inner ones?

you can check out ebay and there are thousands of them. only a few bucks a pair. as for the size, your headlights are h7. forgot the inner city lights but not h7 for sure. you can do a quick search here and should be able to find it.

So I have checked the w5w lights on aznoptics and some other sites. I see that there are 4500k/5000k/8000k/ The 5000k is sold out, so either its 4500k or 8000k. I assume that 8000k is very bright? I just want the color to match my bi-xenon so would the 4500k be the best option??

doesn't matter what they called, parking or city lights, 8000k won't be brighter. in fact, it's dimmer and bluer. the perfect ones are 5000k. you don't have to get them from aznoptics. like what i mentioned above, ebay has thousands of them in a much cheaper price. btw, this will explain better:

Kill me now. i spent hours trying to figure out how to take the original parking lights out, turns out because i have p2 i cant remove the infrared housing with the chip.. even though i dont have night assist in my car. Aside from that i bought led for license plate lights, and after hours of getting into there turns out i needto replace the entire housing unit. i cant just change the bulb. Seriously i just wasted my entire day and i am pretty ticked off. Anybody know anything about the p2 parking lights?

Here are some pictures of the inner city light when I twist open the cap. Instead of just the bulb holder, it is this giant plastic thing that I cant take off and circuit board with the wire. I tried to use tiny pliers to disconnect the wire by the white base but didn't work. I didn't want to pull too hard in case the wire breaks.

Apparently that is supposed to be the infrared sensor for night assist.. even though I don't have that option. Is it impossible for me to change the parking lights? Because I know for sure that it is in there.

Sry about my previous post as it was right after hours of work, I found out it wouldn't work.

you don't have to change the housing for the license plate bulbs. but you do need to open the trunk liner. you have to twist off the bulb by feel.

i was checking the manual for you and it really didn't help much in your situation. i didn't know the parking lights are different in p2 and p1 . will you be able to ask your service adviser or tech for help ?

I literally took my entire trunk apart. There were no bulb that I could twist off. there was a wire running to the housing, and once I disconnected that and an hour later removing the housing, I looked at it and found out that the led is saudered inside the housing and there were no way I could change the bulb. This is weird because I read on other threads that you can twist off the bulb, but I don't see any bulb in the housing. It is just a small LED that cannot be removed.

This is so weird....

that's very strange . a buddy of mine showed me how to do it and i did it myself couple times after. i brought this up simply because i think most of the members here knew i'm probably the worst handyman you could possibly find in the forum but i could change those bulbs out by myself. i didn't remove the whole liner. just open enough for me to squeeze my hand in. you can't see the bulbs but you can touch/feel the plugs. in fact, you can see the bulbs move if you are looking from the outside. then twist counter-closewise, done! i don't know it's because another p2, p1 thing . man, sounds like you are taking the whole car apart but still couldn't change four damn bulbs ! i'm feeling your pain.

This is simlar to what I see when I take my license plate light out. The back is just directly attached to the wires. There were no bulbs to twist. Inside, there is a tiny LED that I cannot remove. This is ridiculus .

I drove a total of 140km to get these lights and spent around 3-4 hours trying to get them on.

Instead of the black thing, it was white and it seemed that there was no way to twist it. It was like as if the entire thing was one part..

Went back and confirmed because I thought I was tripping out. Took some pics too. It seemed as if the back was one entire unit. Cannot twist or turn anything.

EDIT: A2218200856 This is the part number that says on the back of the light

ok, mines are different. i think that could be yours is 2012 and mine is 2010. if that's the case, you have to buy the whole thing, not just the bulbs. but you still can find them cheap on ebay. thanks for taking the pics and verifying. that will really help other members down the road .

Yea... I took those pics so that people can refer to this and SAVE THEMSELVES SOME TIME .

What did I learn? If you have a 2012+ and p2 don't bother changing any lights on your car.

in your case, you've already taken them out or know how, might as well order a pair w/housing and get it done.

The 2012 models use leds for the license plates and they look better that the super bright aftermarket housings i have seen around the forum. From your pictures it looks like the factory housing only uses 1 led as compared to the 18+ in aftermarket housing. Personally i would keep the factory leds instead of having a second pair of headlights on the rear of my vehicle. I also gave up trying to remove the city lights on my 2011 with p2, i felt like i would break the entire housing before i made any progress.
