Who has installed JB SPEED trunk spoiler?
Considering installing JB SPEED trunk spoiler on my black 2012 E350 Sport. Who has done this and are you happy with the results? Any problems or suggestions? Their price $180, and being painted body color are good features. Any suggestions on installing on trunk?
Checked with my dealer and they want $300 not painted. When you add it all up it is close to$500. Open to all information you have. Thanks.

I purchased a painted rear spoiler from JB Speed quite a while ago for my SL. It arrived during a very busy time at our business and I didn't open the package until about a month after I received it. When I did finally have a look, I found that the spoiler was not packed well and was cracked on one end. That was bad enough, but I also found that it didn't lie flat on the trunk either. My body shop said it would cost more to fix it than I paid for it. Having seen on other posts where he wasn't particularly pleasant in dealing with returns, I decided to move on and chalk this up to "too good to be true".
I admit I didn't give him a chance to make it right.......but even if it had been packed properly and not broken, it still didn't appear to be a quality piece.
Hopefully you can find others with a more positive experience, otherwise.......

I have the JB trunk spoiler. Paint and fitment are good. Had it for 2 plus years without any problems. Like it more than the stock MB version as it is larger and more aggresive looking. The stock piece is too small and flat.
