2) While you had that horrible horrible car with jarring suspension how could you write all those superlatives about it all over the internet? I saw nothing that you posted that would have been critical of this engineering marvel at that point? Me thinks you're a bit of a hypocrite.

3) WTF do you care about "timeless design" when you change cars quicker than some change underwear? You should be glad that these cars age poorly this way you can be the elitist ***** in your fresh new lease every couple years.

4) Did you warm up enough to the cheap plasticky key of the F10 to finally whip it out and showcase it in public or do you still miss the beautiful chrome star?

Note: my questions are mostly rhetorical or tongue in cheek in case your density matches that of osmium...

I am sorry to inform you that KA is not the "idiot"
He knows exactly what he is doing.
But only "idiots" on this forum seem to fall for his tricks. (new forum members excluded)

This has to be the absolute worst forum in the "internets" that doesnt know how to correctly respond to a troll. (hint: IGNORE THEM!)

Pathetic!

Arguing with K-A is a lot like wrestling with a pig in the mud .... after a while, you realize that the pig enjoys it!

I didn't call him an idiot. I called him a narcissistic a-hole. Big difference.

Well I'll take narcissistic-a-hole over idiot.

Why don't we all just truce and make up, think happy thoughts and consider this poor horse far too beaten.

cool.

real leather is better than MB-Tex, though. i just don't know why anyone would get fake vinyl seating in their luxury car. this feature should be standard for a car at this price....

M-B Tex really is the only vinyl in a car I'd consider (though I think Porsche has some high quality vinyl too). I don't really mind it but do appreciate the extra sense of luxury and refinement I get from the leather in my current car (which is actually the "cheaper" leather alternative, i.e not the Nappa option), which does give a good argument as to why a "Luxury Car" should have leather. I actually wouldn't even vow off MB Tex for its feel as much as I would for the smell. After a while MB Tex cars tend to just smell a way that is not only unflattering but gives me a bit of a headache. The smell of real leather is really a perk. Though, of course especially poorly maintained leather can start to stink just as bad as MB Tex in a totally different way.

I defended M-B before because I entrusted the brand. Then I woke up, experienced a BMW, studied both cars extensively with open eyes and now know what I know. M-B touted how rigid the W212 was which always seemed odd as both of mine creaked and rattled and flexed, not to mention massive complaints from other drivers. Then I find the F10 is the actual tank in this class, it's torsional rigidity so far above the E that it's just about in line with the new S! That shows just how over engineered BMW really designed it.
And all that time I thought you moved to BMW because the payment was less.

Actually the payment is more even considering I got perhaps the best deal on a loaded 535i known to interweb-man, as is the MSRP. My E350 lease simply can't be replicated by any BMW I shopped other than a 3 Series, and that's truth. Shockingly, my E350 payment was still even more than what many members have posted getting here within the past couple of years.

Not to mention, the fees (not too bad) I had to pay to get out of my E350 early, therefore downpayment aka drive-off (again, scored an insanely good bargain) on top of that on the 5.

There are a couple of real trolls around this place. The ignore feature is handy when it comes to cleaning up threads of their trash...

I just found it and happy to say I also utilized it. It seems to work as advertised: https://mbworld.org/forums/profile.php?do=ignorelist

The only drawback is when people quote their message it still comes through...

You've got to give K-A his due. This thread is now eleven pages. He has pissed off all the members and he is laughing at all of us.

He has close to 10,000 posts to his credit just on this forum. He is also on the BMW forum and probably others. He says he has a girlfriend but that is doubtful. He has no time for one. All his spare time is spent researching articles on cars or posting crap on cars.

I think this boy needs sex............with someone other than himself.

I had a chance to drive today i3, it is an electric 3 series replacement. I can't say the car is designed in BMW traditions. I would name it awful. However I was pleasant with driving experience especially as the car perform considering low HP analog. I didn't like only higher center of gravity position making you feel that car is unstable, although I couldn't confirm it in real driving. Dashboard is really innovative, although column shifter was borrowed from E class. I also didn't like that essential part of hood actually inside of cabin, making your view a little bit odd. But generally a driver has a good visibility. I only was disappointed with driving range which is about 90 miles. However the car can be still considering as a good commuter cars especially if employers will provide rapid charging stations.

you're forgetting the fact that the i3 has 23.667% more torsional rigidity than the competition, and certainly more than the laughably soft b-class from MB, a tired design that was lazily put together by MB execs who needed an about-face facelift to compete with audi and bmw in the segment.

i have studied the ins & outs of these econ-cars and even stuck my ***** in the tailpipes... the bmw is the superior product.
