Brake light stays on all the time
I'm a Nissan guy at heart. Ive built many 240sx drift cars and still own a gutted track 240sx.
The Benz world is much different, but I like learning about about a new platform.
My issue is with the tail light. Today, out of no where, the right rear brake light has stayed on, even when the car is off and no key fob is in. I'm worried about it killing my battery.
Is there a fuse I can pull until I can get it to the dealer to check it out, or does anyone have any ideas how to fix it ?
( I did search like any new forum new should)

As you are a hands-on car guy this might sound stupid but are you sure it is the brake light? Is there a light on in the front too on the right side?
Make sure you don't have the light switch on parking light position for the right side. The switch allows you to turn only right or left side parking lights on that stay on as long as the car is turned off and the switch is on either side position.
I believe it's like a courtesy to driver like Follow Me Home function that allows the lights to turn on and help driver see his/her way home at the nights
This image is what I am talking about . Main light switch is in AUTO by default and I get out of the car .As you can see park lights, daytime running lights and tail lights stay so long a period of time that allows me to shot this pic lol
Don't worry these cars are smarter than many people outside and they don't do something stupid to drain your battery unless there is something wrong
reminds me of the girl I saw JUST yesterday driving down 85 with all of her brake lights on including the window brake light....
and she was driving along with her nose high as if nothing was wrong! haha
welcome and you'll figure it out

It only takes 3 screws to remove the dashboard undercover on the driver side. From there you'll have clear access to check your brake switch for proper clearance adjustment.
Also consider the possibility your brake circuit (driver side SAM) could be impacted by system low voltage.
