Annoying Bass Rattle in E Class Sedan
Hi guys. I get this annoying rattling from the rear when playing music with deep bass. I tried raising and dropping the rear window shades, but that didn't help. As someone who listens to lots of hip hop, you can see how this would be a problem for me. Do you guys have any idea where it's coming from?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Even if it's normal, it's annoying, really annoying. Isn't there a way to get rid of it. Even if it means duct taping the offending component.

You need to move down balance settings and increase Fade section , this is what I do because I just dislike bass sounds lol

Remember , repeat the same for each audio device input such as Bluetooth Audio, SD Card, Radio, DVD and such things

Men, the E Class doesn't have enough bass honestly, comparing the E Class bass to the Avalon doors is like Justin Bieber vs Barry White. The Avalon bass vibrates even the driver's seats, without any annoying rattle. But the E Class wins in overall sound quality. As for the balance and fade settings, won't that affect the aforementioned, overall sound quality.

The E definitely don't have enough bass. I had the 335i with the same logic 7 system and it got way more bass. Maybe cause there are bass knockers under the driver and passenger seat to generate that effect.
Perhaps you can take to the stealership and see what they say? I personally don't got enough time to do so =/

I have the same problem, they told me the same thing.
"According to my shop foreman it was compared to another vehicle and sounds identical
They do not seem to think there is any necessary adjustment needed
Thanks"
So lame, when they put a nice sound system in the car you should be able to enjoy it without rattles. If the command included a decent equalizer with enough bands we could eliminate the natural resonating frequency of the car.
