Annoying a** dash vibration. Fix-it tips?

Hi guys,
Lately I've been getting the most annoying vibration in the dash driving over every single imperfection in the road. Can't quite pinpoint where it's coming from it seems like the whole dash is vibrating to me. It's very similar, though not quite as loud, as the steering wheel vibration from the lane departure assist. In my experiences visiting the dealer for things like this is a waste of time so If anyone has had a similar issue I'd appreciate any tips for a remedy. It's driving me nuts!!
Thanks

are you actually feeling the vibration or hearing it? if you heard it, are you sure it's coming from the dash? it could be the anything from the comand unit, cup holder to visors or reading lights on top. you can request to drive with the technician if you are planning to go back to the dealer.

Is it like a "soft tappin rattle".

I have this coming from the passenger seat head rest. It sounds like its coming from the dash but like with almost all rattles inside the car it is very difficult to say where the sound really comes from. Mine sounds like coming from the dash but comes from the head rest.

my dash was "tapping"/"rattling"... it was coming from the instrument cluster area... i made them take it apart and re-felt it... seems to be gone now

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I haven't had time to drive it this week to test out these theories yet, I will try to get a better idea tomorrow night. I think I will just hold down different parts of the dash/cluster and see if that makes the sound go away. Very strange, just cant pinpoint it from the sound alone! I will put up with a lot, but I draw the line at a constant dash rattle, drives me absolutely off the wall!!

Another strange thing, car is 6 months old w/ 3k miles, only driven on weekends and I already started getting a message to replace my key battery. Wonder what that's all about?

It's probably about your battery dying. You can go to the dealer and pay them $8 to have them put in a new one, or you can go buy one at the store for $2 and put it in yourself.

I had two sources of this:

1. A-pillar, behind the SRS cover, the bolts that hold the A-pillars was just about falling out
2. The command screen, you can pull out the surrounding frame and place thin felt behind it and re-install

i thought it was the a-pillar at first in mine...but it was the instrument cluster. Fix was felt.

The command screen rattle is the C-class.

Dont got to Ray Catena of Edison....
