i don't have a link but the markers won't throw any codes, the bulbs will. all you need is error free bulbs and you are good.

BM2BZ, thanks for the info. I didn't realize it was the bulbs. Anyhow, can you or someone else please point me in the right direction. Links would help.

If your current side marker is not LED then you must use a regular bulb.
But I figure out a way to trick the computer if you want to go LED clear.

They are not LED. I changed mine over to the clear housing with amber bulbs. I bought the lights and bulbs on ebay. see below.

I swapped my side markers out 2 years ago with clear markers and error free LED's. Probably cost me a total of 40.00 and took about a half hour to do the work. By far it's one of the best mods for the money (next to the Sprint Booster). I still love them! Good luck.

1) turn the steering wheel to the opposite side your are working on
2) pull the front fender liner from the fender with a good yank; make sure youdon't lose the fastener that pops out
3) turn the bulb socket counterclockwise and pull the bulb and socket out fromthe inside of the lens
4) use your fingers to pull out on the rearmost side of the lens and-once it isfree from the fender-pull backwards towards the rear of the car to free thefront of the lens from the bracket inside the fender
5) reverse the process with new lens and then reinstall the plastic fastenerthat popped out
