What was your first car?
my first ride was a honda accord lx but really forgot the year
.
. My first car was a 1992 Alfa Romeo 164TD. The car was a bullet compared to the W123 but I would have to be careful not to pull too hard on the door handles because three of them broke of on me before already. Italians do not make quality cars.
Had the biggest back seat, could get five of my friends in there. Drive in movies were fantastic. Gas was about $.24 a gallon. I could hardly see over the long hood.
Great memories.

That was back in 77'. Lots of crazy memories of those days cruising around Brooklyn with a car full of friends doing things that we shouldn't have been doing!
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
1955 Pontiac Starchief, 2dr hardtop, white/green in 1964. The amber colored Starchief on the hood lit up! My first drive-in car.
1955 Buick Super, 2dr, hardtop, white/red in 1964. It had the famous Dynaflow AKA Dynaflop trans. Not conducive to a youth driving experience in snow country.
1959 Chevrolet Biscayne, 4dr, black in 1964. I rebuilt the engine, Hurst Synchrolock Shifter, Stewart-Warner tachometer in a chrome cup on the dash looking at you and a rear speaker with a Motorola Vibrasonic unit in the trunk.
1965 Olds Dynamic 88, 2dr hardtop, dark red in 1967.
1967 M152, 1/4 Ton, green in 1967. Property of the U.S. Army.
There are a lot more.
I am looking forward to reading about your first and most memorable vehicles.

I wrecked it in a Hay field when I ran over a hay bale and bored holes in the radiator! I will never forget that car!!

As for my first car. An '88 Audi 5000. Big, boxy, and gold. A hand-me-down from my Dad, which being over a decade old and so "boxy and gold", had me parking it blocks down the street from my school, out of embarrassment. Maybe this is why Audi's still just aren't my thing.
