Who uses their height adjustment?

Who uses their height adjustment? And under what circumstances? I understand if you know you'll be driving roads where you think you need a little more clearance, but curious how others use this in real-life scenarios?

On rough roads I use the comfort setting and sometimes even on smooth roads as it makes the car "float" nicely. Comfort is a bit softer and stands the car a little bit higher than sport setting.

I use the raised high position when I park it as it gives clearance to the concrete stops in parking lots.

I'm going to get torn a new one for admitting this, but I use my raise button when I go to the carwash(yep, I said it,carwash). In the winter when the temp is in the 30's, or below, I take my car to the carwash and before they send it through, I hit my raise button for extra clearance since my car is pretty low with the renntech v3 lowering module.

Yeah Hype, thats about right(about 3/4") and then the car drops again at high speeds a little also. I forget what speed and how much it drops.

Clarifying question on the (right hand) button for Sport/Comfort: This only adjusts damping, and does not change ride height.

Separately (the topic of this thread), pushing the Height button raises (only) the height and has no bearing on the S/C setting.

If I go to the farm in either the E550 or SL500, I raise on the gravel road, partly for the bumps, partly for the manure.

its also a handy feature if you need to fit chains on the rear wheels...For those of you who havent' completely filled up your wheel well with 20's or something.

When snow hasn't been cleared in my street, I usually raise my car to get onto the road to avoid the big pieces of ice/snow.

so could you use the stock electrical equipment for the height adjusment on aftermarket airbags? or use the height management system to overide and go lower than what its designed to do?

I'm thinking about buying this platform car in the near future and I'm going to be going VIP style. Just a couple of questions if anyone knows.
