I visited one of the Windows Tinting place here in Seattle and was told that they have to remove all door panels and some parts below in back windshield to get the tint film correctly, my question would be - is that normal? Do you hear rattles after they put it back together?

Can someone recommend a good place to take my car to get some tint here in Seattle/Bellevue/Lynnwood area?

it all depends on the installer. some of them don't have to remove anything. if you are concern about the rattles after, find one who doesn't need to remove anything.

a tint-er I spoke to once said no, but I still have not done it.....maybe this year lol

I had mine done just a couple of days after I picked it up. They did remove the door panels, as I watched, cringing the whole time! I noticed that the installer had a bit of a hard time reinstalling one of the clips holding the top rear corner of both of the front panels, but got it in the end. I was paranoid about the panels rattling after the R&R, but 8k mile later, no issues.

I was looking to get mine done as well. It won't void my warranty will it? Silly question but you just never know now a days.

Yes, they will remove some parts, but if they did right which mean if they didn't break any clips, then you should be fine, I have mine done very well, no rattle noise after. And it shouldn't avoid the warranty

Mine shop did removed the rear ones

I've had many cars tinted and never have they removed the door panels.
