Why would you spend $300 on this type of led if you can get straight led for $200 (which will give you more elegant look, imo). You can totally install those, but you will still have to buy the grilles, etc.

Subaru? Do you need both of these? for a 2010 e350 sport conversion 4 rounds to one straight?

Also What spdt relay do you recommend ?
would be great if DRL and fogs work property with out SAM error

Why do you need a relay anyways? I think if you connect both drl wires and fog wires into led, it will work without a relay.

the key word is "without solder or tap" Can you connect both of those wires into the led without soldering using your method of not using the relay?

I can't say for sure. It really depends.

Why soldering throws you off? I mean it's not difficult at all. If you haven't done it, just watch a video on youtube, I'm sure there are plenty of those. The tools for soldering are inexpensive. Plus, you'll learn something new

Are you sure? sending 2 signals to one light?
Has anyone tried this?

Yeah, but if you think of it, it's just one signal at a time (your fog light and drl don't light up simultaneously...). So, I think it should work, though I haven't tried it myself.

Did u get any error code when u installed the LEDs? I've installed the straight LEDs but I haven't connected them cus the shoppe told me it will turn on the check engine light since they are not the same voltage. Wires are disconnected but I get message saying check DRL.
Help

Thank you

So have you tried connecting both cables to led. Just wondring if it wont throw any error. Curentlly got spdt releys but something wrong goes with them and when i activate fog, led starts blinking and releys starts ticking. Any way to got drl on during night with lights on without turning fog knob.

Need some help with this if anyone could please chime in. I have a 2011 E class with the L shaped LED lights and want to convert to the straight bar lights on the 12/13 models. I have found some on Ebay that are much cheaper than the dealership. Only problem is I don't know if the straight bar LED lights will fit on the connector of my L shaped LED lights? Thanks in advance.

The one on ebay is not as bright as the original MB LEDs but either way u need to modify the wires and u need buy the grill that's holding the LEDs. You can also ask the seller. They seem to know what they're talking about. I've asked them few questions before.

Ok thanks for response. But I actually found the OEM mercedes lights on ebay by searching the part number. I will be buying the grill that holds the LED's from the dealership. Also I have tried to contact the sellers but they have no Idea if it will work (Which I know it will work, just don't know how. Since I have seen a member here do the exact same conversion I want to do). They also do not know if I need the version without wires or the version with wires.

I have 2010 with round lights. not sure how your LEDs function but the new straight LEDs dims out when the low beams come on. With mine it stays unless I switch to fog.
They're also not the same voltage. It will ask to check DRL every time u turn on the vehicle.

Parts.com (the parts are for a 2012 which will work on the 2010) $178

2128852174

The straight LED DRL's 2049068900, 2049069000 you have to email ales.lukez@gmail.com and ask for the LED lights with the wires attached. That was $200.00 with shipping. He's from Slovenia. It only took 5 days once he shipped them to me in NY. $200.00 with shipping

I had mine installed at a local dealer in NY. $80.00

What about going from the L shaped LED lights to the straight bar ones? Is it the same process?

Dealers won't touch any of that. They said it will cost 3-4k for them to work like the new
