Based on what I've been reading, with the 2014's here in a couple weeks, does this seem like a good deal?

Don't pay $1500 up front...pay the first months rent plus any legally required fees only. nothing else.

Otherwise, it looks ok to me....good getting the maintenance included.

Based on the giveaway deals I've seen by many members, who have gotten more than 20% off W212's in its run as one of the most discounted cars I've ever witnessed, I'd say that although technically a great deal, for this particular car, maybe not so much. Unless MBUSA finally put the clamp down on the crazy incentives.

I got my 2011 E350 with P2/AMG Wheel Package for $48K selling price when it was MSRP'd at $58K MSRP. It was in June 2011 so before Holidays, etc.

Yeah, work on the msrp a little bit, you should be able to get in the high 40s. I got mine $11K off of a $67K sticker; you should really be able to do well with the 2014s coming out soon, they're trying to roll out the 2013s ASAP.

I haven't lease a car since 2007, but I don't think the sale price is good really. When I got mine (be it was the last day of the year in 2011) I was offered 7k off sticker as a starting point.

Also have you considered the BTC for a higher residual if they have them on the lot? As I ma sure you are aware the 2014 face lift is pretty dramatic so the 2013 should be a great deal...

I remember a thread here with someone getting a $60K MSRP car for under $50K. My own 2011 was $10K off a $58K car which is getting close to 20%, and although it was a great deal, after 2012 people started getting even more ridiculous deals than that. Some guys were posting getting W212's with little drive off and well under $500 a month, even in the $3's in some best-cases, if I remember correctly (may have been Bluetecs for those). I'd think about 20% off, at least, would be needed to get something like that.

Definitely shop the deal a bit. I saved over $220/Month over the quote the dealer where I live gave me for the EXACT same car and terms. These leases vary way more than the dealers want you to believe.

That's just a ridiculous price. C'mon M-B, if you can't retain MSRP even before the car is initially sold, at least do the market and buyers a service and SLASH MSRP! It's a joke when a Luxury manufacturer slashes such high prices to move.

When I was recently car shopping (December) I was being told of deals in the mid $400's with little to no drive off being attainable on P1 E350's, and that was before heavy negotiations.

$14K off of a $62K car is MORE than 20% off of MSRP, and that's not the only one I've seen like that (again, my own mid 2011 deal on a P2 car was almost sort of close to 20% off itself).

Yeah it's crazy! If someone can get that kind if deal before the facelift, imagine what kind of deals they'll be offering once the 2014s are out and they have 2013s on the lot to get rid of. I'm in the low 400s for my 5er, but the E has a higher msrp than my F10 and people are paying a little less for a car with even more options than me.

That's true. Being that yours is a 528i with technically no direct competitor from the E line, might right there be a strong contributing factor as to why E350's get such drastic price cuts. The E350 is technically a complete MSRP competitor to the 535i, with the 535i having a slightly higher overall price and even more-so when they start getting Optioned out, however E350's after regular discounts tend to be maybe more comparable to 528i's than 535i's, who's best deals aren't even as good as the E350's worst deals in many cases.... as my own jumping around between the two has proven in itself.

Yes, exactly, the base msrp of my 5er is 46K and change and the E is 50K and change, I also have only 10K miles/year and no wheel upgrade, yet people are paying less than me for E classes somehow. It's obvious that their priority is leasing, this may be why the AMG sport was made free, which resulted in the loss of this package's exclusivity and many other things that MB is willing to do just to please the leasing crowd; of course bmw does this too, mercedes is pushing it too far. I hope they can turn it around because they are losing the few enthusiasts that they have left, to BMW.

I got a friend that works at the Mercedes dealer and he was telling me that in June Mercedes is gonna have crazy lease deals on C class coupes and sedans and E class sedans.

On the C class, the coupes are gonna get a better deal than the sedans and on the E class the deal is for the sedans only. According to him, the E class coupes don't have good deals because a used E coupe doesn't sell to well.

Before leasing my current E350, I was able to drive off in the CLS500 for $4000 due at signing and $780 a month for 27 months (10,000 miles a year). Was this a good deal? The sticker price was around $80,000.

I think its almost a must to post at least the state of the selling dealer together with monthly quote. Many of those "incredible" deals are just a fantasy in most of the country. Taking it one step further, why not post dealer's name as well? If they can do one, then they can do two or more as they're clearly after units moved.

Agreed. And some transparency on what makes up the discount is also relevant:
- factory cash?
- 3rd party offers included in "discount" (USAA, Costco, etc)?
- new vs demo model?
- trade-in?

Well, perfect timing. I just got an Email from Mercedes of Calabasas with a Lease on an E350 for $379 a month with 1,999 drive off.

Wow, so Mercedes is pricing E350's off of its obviously joke of an MSRP for the price of a Camry Lease. Nice. Between that and the uncharacteristically about-face facelift, it's nice to see M-B on top of their game.

Anyone in the SoCal area, I would JUMP on that Lease. Though, maybe it'll get better as the '14's roll up.... E350's in the $200's?

BTW, that SL550 lease is pretty insane as well. I know the car isn't getting that well received for a historic SL, but damn.

Look at that C-Class deal, we're talking lower Lease than a Ford Focus or Chevy Cruze. Maybe I should convince my GF to jump on that, lol.

I think they only sent this email to selected customers. I go on their website and the special deal they have on the E350 Sport Sedan is $579 a month with $4,424 due at signing.

If I were a betting man, which I'm, I would bet its a classic bate and switch - a.) available only on in-stock in colors and with base (or no) equipment that no one wants (still a great deal) or most likely b.) "sorry were all sold but we have others at similar savings". MB dealers and banks are not in business to loose money. Period.
