It's not 1 year since I took the delivery of my car and two days ago I saw that Change Key Batteries coming on the dash
Long story short , if you see such a message don't rush to change the battery in no time , just press the one of the key fob buttons , I did this way and it worked .
So, no more Change Key Battery reminder on the dash

Funny thing I am using either keys not going steady for one that I opted and the other key has never got any message like this before lol

After doing a bit search I have decided it's OK to post in my own topic on the key fob battery state .
This is what happened , this warning message kept coming on each time I took the affected key fob with me to start the car this thing continued until I left the car not driven for 5 days .
5 days later, same key fob I pressed the ignition button to start the car and no more warning message occupying the dash , may be by some fluke or not I see no more key fob battery message which is good lol
I have been using two key fobs as well since I bought the car .

Weird, when my key fob battery warning comes on, I go to Walgreens and spend $5 on a two pack of batteries and change them.

Then the warning goes away, for a long time.

My warning just came on yesterday saying the battery is low...going to a CVS or something this afternoon....

To each their own. I'm too lazy to drive to a store to pickup something that I can order from home and have it delivered to my home. Especially when it costs me less than if I had to get off my butt and drive to the store.

i changed my battery about 3 weeks after the warning came on, plenty of time to order a 4 pack from amazon for 2 dollars

FYI, when the battery warning comes on, you have about 4-6 months before they die.
Based of my experience, not off anything official.

Change Key Battery message popped back in the screen a few mins ago
OK, sooner or later I will have to replace it
