2012 E350 RWD, 2003 Aprilia RSV1000 Tuono
My local Connecticut dealer offered me a new '13 4-matic, P1 $7,400 off MSRP for a sell price of $52k. After what I just read on here, I think he can do way better (like $50k or even less)! But, I was looking for RWD 2012 CPO anyway. He didn't have any 2012's. And he never has any RWD's! I am looking for a Sport w/ AMG wheel pkg.
So I was looking online for this combo. There were a lot of low mileage 2012s. But they seemed overpriced at $47k and up! Then I finally saw one low mileage 2012 with P2 and Pano for 44,900. This was like $5-7k less than most all other P2's across the country.
After reading on this forum about how the new 2014's delivery is pressuring the market place to push out the older models, I think I can negotiate for any loaded 2012 for at least $44,900 if not lower.
Does that sound like a fair assessment?

Using autotrader do a 500mi search for new 2013s. Find the one you want and see who gets aggressive via email. Then just have it shipped for $500 or so. I bought my 550 this way and saved several thousand. You'll have to get a rwd 350 from somewhere they don't get much snow too. MB sends nothing but 4matic to the snow regions.

Don't settle for less than 20% on a W212. Discounts like that are pretty standard fare for savvy shoppers. You might have to travel to a bigger city (if you're not in one), though.
pit the dealers against each other for the best price......make it a contest and the winner makes a sale........treat salesmen like lackies because that what they are
they're not your freind, not your mate, only freindly and cordial for ONE REASON.....
just a reminder
good luck with it

does it also have the Lane Tracking and Parking guidance packages? I have essentially the same car if you do. I got it last month for ~$1k more, but they gave me $33k for my car (2010 P1 with 27k on it).

Sounds like approximately similar deals. Oh but this 2012 is RWD.

Negotiation Completed for CPO. details:
Well dealer and I settled on terms! Out goes my 2008 P1 RWD Sport w/41k mi. and in comes my 2012 P2 RWD Sport with Pano, Distronic, active seat, AMG wheel, wood steering wheel, lane tracking, parking guidance 8,000 mile BEAUTY!
MSRP was $62,8k negotiated price is $45.3k: 28% discount. That's good. But they are getting my 08 for $19k. So they will make a profit on that.
I'm happy and excited. I'm flying to Dallas to pick it up, visit some friends then drive it home to Connecticut!
Cheers,
Glen

"M276" So is that the official designation for the evolved 3&1/2 liter engine? Truth be told, that was my main incentive to get into a newer E. When I found out that the '12 got 34 more HP through direct injection and other mods, I was target fixated on getting one!
